Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Aug 7 → 13.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Idols of Ash is a simple parkour horror game that follows a woman's descent into the depths of a seemingly bottomless pit. While its premise is immediately understandable, the gameplay is something best learned across a few attempts. Essentially, Idols of Ash is a massive dropping puzzle, akin to what one might experience in a FromSoftware game. However, it adds a twist by having a massive centipede monster pursuing the protagonist on her journey to the bottom. As the player races to the bottom, they're equipped with a rope and grappling hook, which can be used to secure a controlled descent or thrown in a Hail Mary attempt to prevent a fall death. Gameplay tends to be very tense, as the centipede can also dislodge the grapple, forcing quick decision-making. The experience is generally fun, with a map that felt very intentional in its design while remaining esoteric enough to make it challenging to immediately identify the safest path. It's hard to attribute a narrative to Idols of Ash, as the game itself is seemingly an allegory for the loss or grief of a loved one. It maintains a generally mysterious vibe with a satisfying ending; however, it is otherwise fairly anemic in its storytelling. Overall, I think I would recommend Idols of Ash to most players. It feels like it has the right balance of an immediately understandable gameplay loop while also being widely accessible in terms of gameplay length and difficulty. One might worry about buyers remorse on such a short title. For me though, all thoughts of regret or folly are silenced.

Idols of Ash is a simple but novel game. You have a rope with a grappling hook and must descend into a cave in search of your lover. The game is heavily stylized and incredibly atmospheric. I love this game because it offers experiences you simply cannot find in other games. The way the centipede moves and follows you, as well as the sensation of falling from great heights, is genuinely something special and creates a surprisingly strong emotional reaction in my body. It’s a short but very enjoyable and unique experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different.
A historia é bem simples.
Holy hell, its like reverse White Knuckle. Tense, suspenseful, and heart wrenching. Bravo, 11/10.

Genuinely, Idols of Ash has one of my favorite grappling hooks I have ever used and I did not expect it to work with the horror of falling as well as it did.
It's good but be warned it only lasts about 40 minutes without the harder modes
A very simple and engaging game with a charming story, much more intense than i anticipated, the centipede is a legit scary threat and really feels like it's hunting you. The mechanics are simple but don't get simple and easy confused there's some depth here and a great story, i'm sure you could blind run this in less than 45 minutes if the games mechanics click for you. Understanding what I can and can't do with the grappling hook really kept me wanting to continue and that feeling of just a little bit more every time really had me hooked. Getting closer to the bottom and realising that not only did that mean there was less safe platforms for me but there was less obstacles for the centipede meaning I was suddenly forced to take risks i might not have otherwise taken... absolute gem that legitimately had mt hands sweating at times.
