boring game. you wait a little while, click the purchase button to level the colors, then you wait a little while, then reset to gamble for an additive upgrade. There are these question marks at the top that make you think "oh, there must be like 10 different games in this 1 game", but that is incorrect. the ? just hide a useless checkpoint, like a secondary set of goals that is just leaving the game on till it passes 1 quadrillion, then 10 quadrillion, then probably 100 quadrillion. No neat upgrades, no next level, no new mechanics. just buy, wait, restart, buy, wait, restart.
This is basically a clone of Idle Game 1 on Mobile which is a decent game that'll keep you busy but can be quite tedious with the RNG. I've tried a few games from this dev and they often miss QOL stuff like buy max buttons making you need to use an autoclicker. edit: dev added max buy so it's a lot better now

Looks like a scam. There doesn't seem to be any way to get the Steam achievements without cheating. The game requires excessive clicking, but even with an auto-clicker it would take hundreds of years to reach the victory achievement. I don't even want to know the requirements for the late game achievement you unlock afterwards.
What you see really is all you get. No real point to the game. There is no 'bigger picture' very slow, VERY repetitive. I'd been trying to hit milestones in the hope that some new mechanic would be introduced, it wasn't. Honestly can't recommend this game. There are plenty of idle games out there that are better than this in every way, many of them free. So, thumbs down.
Maybe it gets better eventually, but the first hour is constant clicking to progress at a snail's pace with no meaningful goal nor milestone in sight. Absolutely miserable experience.

RNG based idle game. Numbers go up, prestige makes a random modifier increase. Time consuming and grindy. if that's your thing, it's pretty good. [strike] However, when the multiplier rng lands on the time increase for a generator that all ready hit infinite time, it feels like a waste of your time. [/strike] *Dev has fixed this, game is great.*
Idle Game x100:

"Idle Game x100" isn't really a proper game, it's just a lazy 2D browser/Flash-tier "number incrementer" game where the object of the game is to increase the in-game currency by clicking, and sometimes buying things that increase the rate at which your currency/score goes up. It's an incredibly shallow game loop, to the point you might as well just run a program that does "i=i+1; print i" and watch the numbers go up automatically, and just watch it. You'd get the exact same outcome. If this sounds completely mindless, you're not wrong. But this one is particularly gruesome, with a simple, linear progression path with exponentially higher goals. It's shallow even compared to other clickers. And the interface is pure text... usually the "developers" of this kind of game put up a picture of a biscuit or a banana or something to keep us entertained while we click (in case it's not obvious I have a lot of disdain for these kinds of deplorably low quality, lazy games, and they deserve it). I'm almost wondering if this was deliberately put on Steam as an experiment to see just how bad/primitive/pointless a game should be before gamers won't tolerate it. But ultimately, we also have to remember this is a paid product! It's here so the developer can earn income and make a profit. Seriously. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game interface is mostly just text boxes/dialogs and features mostly static, barely animated 2D images, the kind of thing you expect to see in browser/HTML games from the 1990s. While that might be fine for the 1990s, gaming has evolved a lot since then, the ATI Rage became mainstream in 1996... it's 2024, and that kind of thing just won't fly anymore, it's just not visually up to scratch. The controls can't be customised because the game doesn't really have any interface beyond menus and simple UI controls no different from dialog boxes in Windows Explorer. If you think about it, this barely counts as an "interactive" game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play fully immersive games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Idle Game x100" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for getting 1 million in multipliers (just takes a few minutes), trivial to achieve, but less than 6 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. The poor quality of this game is also reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 12 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Unethically, the developer has locked achievements for this behind an incredibly lengthy grind path. Achievement hunters might buy this thinking it's only got three achievements so it's an easy "win", but other gamers have calculated that this could take clicking for years until the achievement can be reached. Achievement hunters beware, I guess, and give this one a wide berth. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? "Idle Game x100" is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
