"Idle Dino" is a brainless clicker/incrementer... you know the type, click on stuff to make numbers go up so you can buy stuff to help you click on stuff to make numbers go up so you can buy stuff to... you get the idea. The brainless gameplay is, unsusprisingly, accompanied with an equally low quality technical implementation and poor presentation, resulting in yet another horribly low quality shovelware game that might as well have been done in a web browser. While I couldn't find this on the mobile app stores, everything about it looks and feels like it's a mobile app designed for mobile phones... for PC gaming enthusiasts, it's not going to give you a cutting edge PC gaming experience. That alone is enough to disqualify this from any recommendation. We don't spend thousands building gaming rigs so that we can pretend they're iPhones and play iPhone games and mobile apps. The graphics aren't great, This clicker, with a rather lame and pointless (and possibly asset flipped) "dinosaur" theme, offers nothing that other clickers do better (and I still maintain there's no such thing as a good clicker, this is the worst kind of game). It's apparently abandoned Early Access, but the developers didn't bother trying to do the right thing by marking this as an Early Access game. Regardless, treat this as abandoned garbage.. That's understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
This game randomly resets your save file, devs never respond to anything. So lame
Tremendous potential. Looking forward to some patched in goodies later on.
This is a stupid meaningless idle game that i can't get enough of.

UPDATED.0.2 While I did enjoy this game and previously recommend this to y'all, I can no longer tell you to play this with the developers stating that they will no longer provide updates to this as they do not have the time, nor do they want to continue this project. The game was fun, as I do enjoy idles, but the abandonment has left the game in a state that I - or y'all - would not be able to complete it unless you 1) cheat (BAD) or 2) leave your PC running 24/7 with an auto-clicker spamming and checking every day to buy upgrades and rebirth when it's available. I say that because I know; I'm currently on some unknown rebirth, after so many (13) lost saves, and letting mine run constantly. When I do have to shut down, I pray that the save file will not be wiped. I'm not sure how much longer I will strive for these achievements, but if I lose my save again... yeah, I think that will be the true end of my dedication to complete this.

Simple game very steep at some point but there are a lot of players who run into save issues and lose their files. Including myself :/
