I Am Your Beast is mediocre and unremarkable. Folks, this game consists of 27 really small levels that you can finish in some cases in mere seconds. There are some added challenge levels but it's just more of the same. The backstory is entirely unnecessary and ridiculous. It is neither interesting or as funny as some seem to think it is. Basically dude goes on a rampage because a bird gets shot. Note to devs - birds aren't real. Gunplay in this feels stale, gameplay is at least consistent in that it is very repetitive which is quickly boring. For some reason I Am Your Beast made a heavy focal point of presenting the story using a long cutscene between almost every level blasting you with large text and voice acting that sounds like the actors checked out completely while reading this script. It's just plain dumb. As a result I started killing the cutscenes almost as fast as I executed the enemies on each level. Actually now that I think about it they likely used these cutscenes as filler since there is so little actual game content. The background music also gets poor marks here. I just want to get this game over with and delete it... If you are looking for a speedrun/parkour shooter I fully expect you can do better elsewhere. I would not buy this even on a deep discount sale.

I see why this game got such high ratings ngl, it is just THAT good for being so simplistic. Honestly, a lot of amazing indie games have the most simplistic plot.

Absolutny must play dla ludzi gustujących w grach, gdzie mamy bardzo szybkie tempo. Co mnie najbardziej w tej grze zaskoczyło, to jak genialny jest tu voice acting - uruchamiając tego typu tytuł po raz pierwszy, nikt by się tego nie spodziewał. Gra typu "one more time", gdzie celujemy w jak najlepszy wynik w przechodzeniu poziomów. Same poziomy są bardzo krótkie i bardzo dobrze zaprojektowane. Niektórzy uważają, że misje bonusowe, które musimy wykonywać, żeby móc robić postęp w historii, są zbędne i frustrujące. Ja jednak uważam, że są fajnym elementem i dodają POTRZEBNE wyzwanie. Co do walki i mechaniki poruszania się, to czysta frajda: wspinanie się po drzewach, rzucanie bronią we wrogów, rzucanie pułapkami na niedźwiedzie, robienie wślizgów pod pułapkami laserowymi, strzelanie do gniazda os, żeby spadło na wroga i żeby to one wykonały za nas robotę, i wiele, wiele więcej, a to wszystko podczas biegu do ustalonego celu, z presją czasu, mając na uwadze misje bonusowe, które musimy wykonać, żeby przejście poziomu w ogóle zostało zaliczone. Gorąco polecam.

Fantastic arcadey FPS game with a good story to boot. Absolutely love the music and had an amazing time with the base game. Looking forward to the post-game content and the upcoming Quitting Time DLC
