Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

Crawl through Cyberspace: Scour the darkest corners of the Web for scumbag users who violate Hypnospace law!

Beautiful game! It really does capture that 90's/y2k internet feel. A bunch of geocities looking pages to browse through. It's kind of crazy how the developers came up with that many pages. While you don't need to go through everything each page offers to finish the game, they do add some nice extra context to the game. I got a bit stuck in some puzzles, they're not that straightforward and I felt like they got harder as the game approached the finish line - I had to resort to some external help ngl. Other than that, I did enjoy the game, especially when it comes to aesthetics (that's where it shines the most imo!)

It's like browsing the internet at the turn of the millennium in an alternate universe, what more could you want? Excellent writing that nails the tone perfectly, really just a dazzling show of creativity. Makes you want to go make your own weird website on neocities.

Rip Dreamsettler. I love games that take this much care in establishing their own believable, crazy little fake communites. Best freeform detective game of all time.
i love funny internet browsing (genuinely though this is such a fun and unique game. i have not yet beaten it but i really enjoy it a lot. the ost and humor is so good.)
