MELHOR JOGO DA HISTORIA
this game is absolutely amazing. ive streamed it to my close friends for an entire week and it was genuinely one of the most amazing experiences i have ever had in a while. its immensely charming, portrays old internet and its users very well, and highly recommend anyone playing to take their time to scroll through user pages, get attached to these people. i really really adored the first part of the game, i personally didnt really struggle with most puzzles, minus the ones involving the freelands. ♥♥♥♥ the freelands i always got really lost in them. but i had an amazing time until the end. the one true complaint i have for this game, is that the story builds itself up so much, only to fall flat by the end of the game. it left me empty. i understand that dylan is written to be flawed, and the writing team did an amazing job at portraying that with his actions and the way how he wrote all of the euologies, minus maybe roddy's, but that may also be dylan being biased because roddy is the only victim from the mindcrash that dylan knew personally, but i wish we would have gotten something after that. the game lets you play outlaw, dylans passion project, or at least, a version of it, for one last time, where you "ascend" the victims of the mindcrash, get badly written euologies, and then stop dylan. and..thats it. no conclusion, no emails from samantha or tim or anybody from the hap restoration project.. thats where the game ends. i do plan on getting the achievement where you fully restore it, so maybe there is something i havent seen, but its really a shame for me. it left me feel empty after such a joyful experience i had with my friends. would still recommend the game of course because if i wasnt i wouldnt make this a positive review, but it is something that particularly bummed me out. still an amazing game however, the music is absolutely beautiful and i found myself get attached to the characters and even mourning them after they fell victims to the mindcrash. just keep in mind the story may be a little disappointing near the end. its also a shame how whenever i see someone stream this game they never get to the second part of the game..

This game is so good it doesn't even feel like a game. It feels like you're actually exploring ye olde internet and it's just as addictive. There's so much detail, and the gameplay of solving cases and tracking things down is so fun I love it this is a must play super unique experience. Edit: I've played the game more and the plot is also insanely good and could only be told through a game like this, it's amazing.
Nothing can beat the first playthrough of this. Went in entirely blind and found an entire virtual world, bringing me back to my childhood all over again. Incredibly fun story and great humor. Falls apart a bit on replays due to how open it all is, knowledge is power. Second playthrough is fun enough to see how things look from an almost, omnipotent point of view.
Incredible vibes, just a joy to play. If I had to relate it to anything, its sort of like The Return of the Obra Din in a way, you really feel like a detective. Nostalgic, beautifully executed, great game.
do you want to play a game thinking itll be a funny little game and come out of it devastated? Now you can!
this is a creatively-made game, both which simulates an operating system and its own internet AND where a few of your choices matter and make somewhat of significant changes to the story told. fun fact: it's made using Construct 2, which compiles games with Chromium. try moving package.nw away from the game folder, and the game will instead be replaced by a placeholder NW.js page. this is not to complain, but to say that if it works, it works.
This game is an amazing experience, and I've had the soundtrack on loop ever since
As a vaporwave enthusiast, this game is a must have. Amazing immersion and trippy concept
Never played a game like this before. Found its aesthetics and characters charming at first but was completely emotionally sucker punched by the ending. Super interesting world and narrative device but would recommend using a guide cuz I got stuck on a lot of parts towards the end. It reminded me of seeing gamer tags of people I used to play games with a decade ago and not knowing where they are or how they've changed. Permanently stuck in their youth through a sort of metaphorical death and having a mix of melancholia and nostalgia flood my brain when seeing their names. Most memorable game of recent memory highly reccomend
