Greetings Enforcer, and thank you for enlisting in the Hypnospace Patrol Department! As the corporatocracy sleeps, outlaws are out there committing terrible transgressions all across our beloved Hypnospace, and these virtual streets aren't going to police themselves!
Hypnospace Outlaw is a '90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace's wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful.
As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you'll be watching out for copyright infringement, internet bullying and more, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox. In your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.

Crawl through Cyberspace: Scour the darkest corners of the Web for scumbag users who violate Hypnospace law!

A very short puzzle/investigation game with a lot of charm and some good puzzles, but also several very awful, tedious, unfun puzzles. Not worth the list price, get it on steep discount if you must.

Can't believe I forgot to review this. Hypnospace Outlaw is one of my favorite games of all time, it was one of the first games I ever fully completed, and I have mentioned it in other reviews I have made too because it really is an amazing experience that more people should get to have. The trailers and other reviews make the game seem amazing, but even they don't do it justice. I was fully expecting a silly sandbox game, but got surprised with an incredible story and characters with more depth than any AAA game could ever have. I have played this game 3 times (moved over from an old steam account and rebought it) and I still haven't seen all the webpages or all of the characters. Clearly has tons of love put into it and deserves more attention. Plus, it goes on sale for pretty cheap if that is what is keeping you off it. I recommend this game a million times over. Oh, also, if you are looking for another game like this, there is a game called MobOS that isn't out yet and looks very promising, more of a sandbox though. Overall: I would recommend Granny Cream's Hot Butter Ice Cream to anybody who would appreciate the mix of hot butter and ice cream. You can freeze it up cool, or even put it in your microwave and make it real hot!
Recommended ✅ Hypnospace Outlaw is like being trapped inside a 1999 internet time capsule in the best possible way. You play “internet police” inside a fake web browser, and it nails the vibe so hard it’s almost uncomfortable. Terrible fan pages, sparkly GIF crimes, MIDI music, cursed fonts, drama between teenagers, conspiracy forums, shady ads, and that one guy who thinks he’s a webmaster god. It’s funny, but also weirdly real, because it understands how the old internet felt. Messy, personal, unfiltered, and absolutely unhinged. The gameplay is basically digital detective work. You’re clicking through pages, hunting clues, following links, digging through posts, and slowly realizing every tiny corner of Hypnospace has lore. It’s not just jokes either. It has moments that are genuinely creepy, sad, and surprisingly thoughtful underneath all the glitter text. If you miss the era where the internet looked like a carnival and everyone had a personality, Hypnospace Outlaw is pure nostalgia with teeth. You’ll laugh, you’ll cringe, and you’ll probably catch yourself saying “oh my god I used to know someone exactly like this.”
