The tags advertise nudity and NSFW content but there is non to be found in here. I played for 4 hours and thought I had to progress before unlocking any of it but it turns out it's not there. As a game it's ok. it's a basic card game. mundane with nothing special.

So, I have played Hypnosis Card 1 with the NSFW "Do as you please" DLC enabled, and I have played Hypnosis Card 2: Happy Life, the full NSFW version of this game. As far as my research goes, there is no external patch which I can find which converts this SFW version of the game into the NSFW version. Possibly such a patch existed on the original publisher's website. However, in March 2026, the original publisher got removed from Steam, and these games were only able to return in April 2026 under Naku Kinoko as both the developer and publisher. So, this review will cover the unpatched version of the game. I like both of the full-content Hypnosis Card games. Not for the NSFW content, that side of the games is honestly pretty mediocre. But the deck-building card-battler side of those games is pretty fun. I 100% completed both of those games, but I still found myself wanting to play the card system. So I figured I would get this version of the game to enjoy the card system again while earning fresh achievements, while also supporting a developer who'd had a rough time recently with their publisher. However... I have to refund this. This just... isn't really a game. I had expected all of the card mechanics from Happy Life to remain the same. The only changes which I had expected were the removal of NSFW art & the alteration of card names & text. But it goes so much further than that. A lot of player cards have been removed. There is no longer a level-up system to unlock cards for future runs. The random events you can find on the progression tree are now random event, singular. You always just get the choice between restoring 25 HP or obtaining a random rare card. And worst of all, the female opponents' pool of available cards has been reduced down to card, singular. They have one card available to them: an attack which does 3 damage and heals them 3 HP. This is all they have, and is all that they will cast every single turn. This, more than anything else, is why I would no longer describe this version as even being a game. This is truly egregious, but I like the other games enough that I might have still considered playing this basic version out for all the achievements. But this version of the game still has achievements for levelling up different attributes, a feature which does not exist within this version of the game. Therefore, if I do not refund this game while I am still within the window to do so, I fear I may be stuck with an incompletable game in my library.

[h1] Hypnosis Cards 2[/h1]Hypnosis Cards 2 is way beyond expectations! The moment you open the game, you’re wrapped in soft color tones and ethereal sound effects. The patterns on the cards look like breathing nebulas, and even the soft rustle when flipping them carries a relaxing magic. The gameplay is more layered than the previous installment—no need to memorize complicated rules, yet you can find subtle satisfaction in matching cards, like piecing together a gentle melody in a half-asleep state. Every time I finish a round, I feel the restlessness in my heart quietly fade. It’s a wonderful game that truly lets people “slow down.”
