THIS GAME WAS SOOO FUN!!! Cute stylish quick little 30 minute game, Im HUNGRY for more. The minute I hit those credits I audibly went NOOOO. In the little time I had with it I became quickly interested in Heath and the world around him. Also off topic but he reminds me of a mix of Rudo Surbrec and Denji from Chainsaw man. love him. The environment looks so cool as well, just a big fan of all the different graffiti. Shoutout to the trans flag one and the one saying they liked Heath's fists LOL. I also LOVE how the game encourages skips and just going out your way to explore the levels. If this ever blossoms into a full fledged game I WILLLL BE THERE DAY 1! Anything with that Grind Fiction / Shibuya Punk aesthetic to it is peak in my book.
Damn, this is good... I stubbled upon this game, and before even opening the game, I knew this was going to be amazing. The style, music, characters, flow, and everything in the middle. I've seen many games from similar places, but none are as good as this one. If there were a few more levels and bosses, I could see this being a pretty solid paid game. For free, this is a fun experience worth the 30 minutes or less it takes for a first playthrough. The best part about this game is how well it sticks to and matches the desired aesthetic. The graffiti, comic, and cyberpunk styling everywhere makes this game pop out of the screen. 9.5/10. Extremely fun and well polished, but leaves you wishing for more.

Developed by CHIRALITY and published by DigiPen Institute of Technology, HYPERFIST is a free-to-play first-person action game that replaces conventional firearms with raw mechanical strength and relentless close-quarters combat. The game immediately establishes its rebellious personality by placing players in the role of Heath, a street punk determined to fight back against the Khi Corporation, a powerful company that has literally purchased Earth with the absurd goal of turning the entire planet into an enormous parking lot. That ridiculous premise is intentionally humorous, but it also gives the adventure a memorable identity that separates it from more serious cyberpunk action games. Rather than focusing on an intricate narrative, HYPERFIST uses its exaggerated setting as a backdrop for fast-paced gameplay driven by energy, attitude, and nonstop destruction. The heart of the experience is its first-person melee combat, which emphasizes speed, aggression, and stylish execution. Heath's oversized mechanical fists are more than simple weapons, serving as the foundation for a combat system built around chaining attacks into lengthy combos. Every successful hit encourages players to remain on the offensive, as maintaining momentum strengthens attacks and opens opportunities for devastating finishing blows. The game rewards precision and confidence, pushing players to dash into enemy groups instead of cautiously picking them apart from a distance. Dodging, movement, and timing all become equally important alongside punching, resulting in encounters that feel dynamic and satisfying despite the straightforward mechanics. Instead of overwhelming players with countless abilities or complicated progression systems, HYPERFIST focuses on making every strike impactful and every combo rewarding. Visually, the game embraces a colorful comic book-inspired art style that perfectly complements its over-the-top action. Bright environments, exaggerated character animations, and expressive enemy designs give every encounter a sense of personality while ensuring combat remains easy to read even during hectic moments. The futuristic cityscapes and robotic opponents reinforce the cyberpunk setting without relying on realism, allowing the developers to create a world that feels playful rather than oppressive. This artistic direction pairs exceptionally well with the energetic punk-rock soundtrack, which fuels each battle with fast-paced music that keeps the momentum high from beginning to end. Together, the visuals and audio establish a distinctive atmosphere that consistently reflects the game's rebellious spirit. HYPERFIST follows a compact campaign consisting of three handcrafted stages leading toward a climactic confrontation with the Khi Corporation's leadership. Although the adventure is relatively short, its focused structure prevents unnecessary repetition while allowing each level to introduce increasingly demanding combat scenarios and environmental challenges. The final boss encounter serves as a satisfying conclusion that tests everything players have learned throughout the journey. Rather than extending the experience with artificial padding, the game encourages replayability through combat mastery, smoother combo execution, and improving performance across each level. Players who enjoy arcade-style action games will likely appreciate this philosophy, as the emphasis is placed on refining skills rather than grinding for upgrades or collecting endless unlockables. The game's accessibility also deserves recognition. Its approachable controls make it easy for newcomers to jump into the action, while the combat system contains enough depth to reward players willing to master timing, movement, and combo optimization. As a free-to-play title, it offers an impressive amount of polish, demonstrating thoughtful level design, responsive mechanics, and a clear creative vision. The project also stands out as an excellent showcase of the talent behind its development, successfully delivering an experience that feels complete despite its relatively modest scope. HYPERFIST may not satisfy players looking for an expansive campaign, extensive customization, or a story filled with dramatic twists, but it excels by committing fully to its central concept. Every design decision supports its fast, stylish, and energetic approach to first-person melee combat. The humorous anti-corporate premise, satisfying combo mechanics, striking comic-inspired presentation, and energetic soundtrack combine to create an action game that is consistently entertaining from beginning to end. It is a focused experience that understands its strengths and delivers them with confidence, making it an enjoyable recommendation for fans of arcade-style action games and anyone looking for a polished free-to-play adventure centered around pure adrenaline.
