HyperBowl

After playing Roxy Raccoon’s Bowling Bash, I had to go back and play this game as it gave me such strong vibes of this one. This game is truly a gem of my childhood. This game holds up to this day and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. I would love to see future updates or a sequel to it one day. If anyone wants a similar game but more modernized, I recommend Roxy Raccoon, but if you want the classic, stick with this. I would love to see a collaboration between the two.

it's decayed really bad over time. but still playable. Smooth surfaces bump the ball around, controls dont get recognized at times, but still has the early 2000s charm to it. Still playable, still a good game.

I was play this game since 2000, my father gave me a Pentium III computer for birthday gift :). We have happy time when rolling ball together. My father passed away in accident one year later T_T . Each time I open this game, I remember happy time and hyperbowl it is one part of my memory.

I didn't know a game could be this bad.

This game has been in and out of my mind so many times, first, I played it on my dad's computer, I wasn't even sure how or when he got a copy of this game, but I saw him play it once, I tried it myself, it's stuck with me since. second time I've found this masterpiece, I found it somewhere in the depths of the app store, I'm not even sure how I got to play it, considering I don't remember paying for it. and now, for the third time, this gem has returned to me, yet again. recommended, a million times over, I would pay this man several times over the amount I paid to get this game. in short, buy this, play this, get thrown off the tracks so many times you laugh at the failures and highs you get.

Si esperabas el mismo juego que yo, que jugabas en tu pc del 2000 y que era de mejores mapas, mejor control, y demas no lo vas a conseguir aqui, yo tambien pense que era el mismo pero no vale ni el dolar que vale, comprate un dulcito mejor y no gastes en esta mie*da de juego recortado, porque si es el mismo esta super recortado y para ser en pc esta programado como si fuera un port de arcade, yo no se, solo que quede decepcionado mrk asi que no lo compres, a menos que sea pa una pc viejita que quieras que tenga juegos simples, ahi puede ser.

グラも微妙で操作性も悪いし、今遊んでも面白いゲームでは決してない、そんなの分かってる。 だって……ほとんどゲームなんてやったこともなかった幼少期に夢中になって遊んだゲームがこの時代に遊べるんだよ！？！？！？ 普通のボウリングとしても勿論遊んだし、あらゆるガターのしかたを試した。スタート地点の後ろも脇道もゴールの奥も、地面がすり減るくらい走らせた。 妙に作り込まれた景色だってくまなく見たし、壺や花にぶつかって跳ねるおかしな挙動でキャッキャと騒いだ。ああ、一体何回滝に突っ込んだだろうか！ 初めてゲームセンターに行ったときに偶然アーケード版が置いてあって、マウスの代わりにボウリングのボール状のデバイスでゴロゴロ回せた。そのときの感動は何十年経っても決して色褪せないだろう。 （蛇足だが、HyperBowlはアーケード版が初出でWindows XP Plus! Editionはその移植らしい。日本にアーケード版があったという情報は全く見当たらないから実はかなりレアだったのかもしれない……。） このUnity移植版で実装された新ステージ？そんなものはおまけでしかない（嬉しいし結構驚いたけど）。 無邪気に転がり続けたあの6つのステージでまた転がれる。最高すぎる。

I don't have nostalgia for this game, so I can't attest to how it's held up over the time, but I dunno man, it just doesn't do enough for me. Outside of the 1 player and arcade modes (which are exactly the same), there really isn't much to do. A campaign that takes you through all the worlds could've been nice. I think it'd also be nice to have customization settings to change how many rounds you do per game, how long you have to bowl every turn, etc. It seems like this is mostly just a nostalgia grab, because all the reviews I see are like, "Wow I remember playing this back then!" "Wow I loved playing this when I was a kid!" "I had this on my Windows XP computer!", and that just tells me that the appeal of this game is that it's just a pretty standard arcade-y bowling experience that just so happens to have nostalgia linked to it. If a game wants to stand on its own in the modern day, it needs to do something other than the bare minimum, and this game barely does that.

Originally made for Windows XP, this game is quite frankly a fun little game that anyone can pick up. And with quite more bowling lanes to choose from compared to the base version with Rome and Classic. If you want a stroll down memory lane, this is the game for you.
