It's quite short and I'm not a huge fan of the game design, which mostly involves short dialogue with NPCs, although they are often funny. The primary appeal of the game is the non-euclidean space and world and that is such a unique and well crafted angle that I easily recommend it to anyone mathematically inclined. It's truly a unique game.
As someone fascinated by mathematics, Hyperbolica is amazing, allowing you to experience hyperbolic and spherical geometries in a (somewhat) intuitive way. That being said, it does feel more like a tech demo to explore said geometries. Also, even though I have pretty good VR legs, the VR mode absolutely killed me. If walking around in unfamiliar geometries sounds interesting, you'll love this game.

I have two complaints about this game: I want it to be bigger and have some procedural area to run around in because I like non-euclidean games and design in general. I want to throat punch the creator over the ski puzzle. BS hitboxes. [I do not actually wish violence on the dev/s, it was just needlessly frustrating in contrast to other stuff] This game will give most people a headache and I knocked most of it out in a single setting and wanted more. Like, make non-euclidean DOOM now. It's a short piece that you can lose time in just walking around; definitely goes under the 'Youtube Experience Game' category. Worth a jaunt.
Fun exploration and puzzle based game. Hyperbolic and Spherical worlds which are a novel experience. The game is open world. The game does not end after collecting the Platonic solids or even after the end credits. The 'True Ending' achievement.
Quite well made, charming, and cute. A must play
It's a cool game for its graphical innovation. Great for anyone who wants to explore the weird non-Euclidean geometry it features. It's pretty trippy in that sense. The music is also really good, and I enjoyed the secrets and the secret backstory that gradually gets revealed. As a downside, I'd say that looking for certain items and talking to everyone can get a bit tedious. Toward the end, I used the hint feature a lot to figure out roughly who I should talk to, because otherwise I'd have had to talk to way too many people. Overall, it's a short experience that's worth it.
What I liked: The non-Euclidean world is astonishing and captivating. The staging of the final battle is interesting. It's astounding how the structure of the world shifts from a non-Euclidean space, to a Euclidean one, to a multidimensional one. What I didn't like so much: Since the only gimmick is the non-Euclidean world, you get bored quickly. You're always doing the same thing. The scenario is hollow and feels like a series of fetch quests. The final battle barely amounts to a battle either — you just circle around the enemy and it's over. Overall: I got my money's worth, and it was a one-of-a-kind experience. I think I would have been satisfied if there had been more of the constantly shifting worlds like in the final battle, scenes where other world structures such as higher dimensions created synergy with the non-Euclidean space, a more thrilling version of the museum obstacle course, or an interactive element where you yourself control the degree of the world's hyperbolic curvature.
Played it once & then yeah... It's good, I'm not sure I would pay more than 8 USD for it though.
