i dont recommend this game unless u want something to play for the next 3 hours, gameplay in kinda boring and creatures are not scary at all, however atmosphere is kinda cool with some creepy and cool locations, especially at the end. got it almost for free so i am lowkey chill but i wouldn buy this game at full price simply because i think its not worthy.

I love first person horror games but this one cannot be recommended. I encountered bugs and the game screams unfinished and untested. Why is the default 62 FPS cap for UE4 in place? Why is there no way to change mouse sensitivity in the menu? Spent some 30 minutes in the game and found absolutely no reason to continue. The beginning of the game was very boring and frustrating because the game wants you to do a lot of exploring and punishes you for doing that (stamina limits).

The gameplay is clunky and clearly lacking in some areas but I actually enjoyed this one. My main complaint would be that the game doesn't control very well. It's forgivable being a smaller indie title but it did take a bit of getting used to. I also experienced a bug where I got stuck out of bounds on the beginning of a chapter but luckily you can skip to any chapter. Story wise, the game is what you'd expect from a Silent Hill inspired game. I found it compelling even though it isn't wholly original. I would recommend so long as you have reasonable expectations. I don't think 6 hours with this game will make you regret being born. The game is better than I'm making it sound. Give it a try. Make a YouTube video about it or something. I wish there was more discussion regarding this game. It deserves that much. Go play it!

Husk não é, no fundo, uma história sobre fantasmas ou monstros. É uma história sobre alguém que passou a vida tentando fugir da dor da infância e, ao fugir dela, acabou repetindo exatamente a violência que sofreu. A cidade fictícia de Shivercliff funciona como uma metáfora do inconsciente: um lugar onde lembranças reprimidas retornam sob formas distorcidas até que não possam mais ser negadas. O jogo sugere que o maior terror não está no sobrenatural, mas na possibilidade de nos tornarmos aquilo que mais condenávamos. A jornada de Matthew (protagonista) é menos uma luta contra criaturas externas e mais um confronto com sua própria responsabilidade, mostrando que reconhecer o trauma é doloroso, mas ignorá-lo pode perpetuar um ciclo de sofrimento através das gerações. 4/10
