Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A spoilt princess wakes in a dungeon. No memory, no prince coming to rescue her, no servants. Just a talking cat with a recipe book and some unwelcome news: the kingdom is cursed, every creature of British and Irish folklore has turned ravenous, and a great red dragon circles the skies. The only way home is to cook her way out, one Horror at a time. She is, predictably, furious about it.
Cook traditional dishes, master five tastes, satisfy legendary Horrors, and unlock the secrets of a cursed kingdom. Season your cards, equip cookware, find powerful potions, rescue familiars, fish in mysterious waters, meet folkloric characters, and carve your own path through a kingdom built on old legends.
Craft a deck of authentic British and Irish recipes, from Cranachan and Yorkshire Pudding to Jellied Eels and Toad in the Hole. Collect ingredients on your travels to cook new dishes and grow your deck. Season your cards to change their flavour and unlock powerful abilities. Equip cookware that bends the rules of every encounter, and shape your deck around the flavour chains you want to pull off.
Encounter Jenny Greenteeth, Marool, Dullahan, Y Fad Felen, and other Horrors drawn from English, Irish, Scottish, and Welsh legends. Each one has its own appetite, preferences, and hatreds. Learn about their origins and the folklore behind them. Read them right and they leave full. Read them wrong and the princess becomes the next course.
Every dish carries one of five flavours: salty, sour, savoury, bitter, or sweet. Match each Horror's cravings, chain the right flavours in the right order, and watch hunger snowball. Every Horror has favourites and things they despise. Learn them, exploit them, and serve the perfect meal.
Travel through dark woods, gloomy meadows, spooky bogs, and the misty loch. Meet legendary characters with quests to complete, trade with merchants, and uncover artefacts and cookware hidden across the kingdom. Unlock fishing to reel in new ingredients and loot. Find a familiar to follow you on your journey and sniff out potions along the way.
Take the long road in the main campaign with persistent progression, where unlocked recipes, abilities, and seasonings carry between runs. Play Vanilla for the standard experience or crank it up with Spicy mode. Stack modifiers like Culinary and Gourmet to twist each run further.
Hungry Horrors is a pixel art card game where food and fear collide. Made by two people, shaped by the community, served with a generous helping of folklore.

This game is TOO much fun! I don't play a lot of deckbuilder games but love folklore based stories. The game mechanics are great and have been improving even more with each update. The artwork and dialogue are so cute and fun. I love learning about the different creatures even if some of them make me go "ick!" You can pet the animals too. Always a bonus.
An absolutely charming roguelite deckbuilder game with fantastic pixel graphics, fun writing, good music and an interesting look at both traditional British & Irish foods and folklore. The mechanics of the gameplay are fairly simple to learn and the difficulty in the currently available biomes (5) is easier than I had expected (compared to other roguelites I've played). I lost a run on each biome once before reaching the end of the available content. For me, this didn't take away from the enjoyment of this fun, charming and relaxing game, but this may not be a game for those who enjoy a more challenging experience (at least until the later biomes are released).

It is not finished yet but it is a good game if you are looking for game to pass the time this is it. and I have a guide for the achievements
Very fun game if you love cooking, roguelikes, and have a sense of humor.
I really like this game. I really like games that have some sort of cooking mechanic and one used for battle as well! The game gives you even more freedom by allowing you to customize cards to your needs, granted you've collected the materials. The gameplay isn't too hard to learn but easy to get used to when you use your head. In my case the game got easy so I found creative ways to nerf myself for more challenging gameplay. For example I'd randomly use all cards that are vegan or no cards with sweet cravings, limit total number of held cards in the deck, made for interesting gameplay and strategies to be discovered. I can't wait to play more levels and hopefully find a challenge I can really sink my teeth into.
You're here for the horrors or you're here for the food, but either way this game serves!
This game is awesome, will be something truly special once its fully released, but is already well worth the price
I normally shy away from early access games but wow! This game was a real surprise. I played the demo and I could not stop thinking about playing more of the game. There is an 'endless' mode you can play but the writing for the story and the personality of the characters is where this game shines. Add that to the heaps of care and attention put into honouring ancient tales from the UK/Ireland (fae, creatures, monstrous beings etc) and traditional dishes (colcannon, toad in the hole etc.) and this game is a real gem. Really fun!!!
