There is so much to love here. Voice acting. Side quests. A reasonable narrative. It is not a AAA game and is probably a little too expensive but there is something so nice about an earnest game like this. It has obviously had a lot of effort and thought put into it and I kind of love it. Keep up the good work! https://youtu.be/TsJeRjardus
I wonder where the good reviews come from. Graphics look like they're from 1999 (and the game takes up 20 Gb on the hard drive). Sounds and models were probably taken from some free Unity asset packs. Dialogs are just terrible. "There are 1200 people. They are dying from lack of food or from killing each other. I think the global warming will kill us all." Yeah, why bother.
Story makes no sense, gunplay is joyless and the game as a whole lacks refinement. Just buy a new hat instead.
If HAPPINESS IS A WARM GUN, this is a shining example of the Unity engine keeping a smile on our faces. The eye candy factor shoots up as you progress through the levels of this sci-fi epic hell bent on saving the humans. So worth it so far. Humanity has the potential to be saved! Crafty Game Lab is a one man team and has a diamond in the ruff. I think with time, effort and polishing the game can go places. Enjoy
In this video I take a look at Humanity*, an FPS adventure. The first glitch happened when I went to look at the water tanks without entering the trailer park, it must have triggered the trailer park mission so the gates were closed when I got there and I couldn't enter. I eventually found a place where I could jump (glitch past) the fence to enter the mission. The mission didn't end until I went back and pickup a gun I didn't want but whatever. Then it got stuck in the loading screen to the next level. I could hear myself doing things but the picture remained the loading screen so I exited the game and selected reload and it had me all the way back at the start of the first mission. At that point I gave up. It's pretty poor quality anyway so no big deal. Onto the next game! Game was interesting to play. Took a little while to figure out the rules but i eventually figured it out. Game was shorter then i thought it would be. Thought there would be more or at least an ending of some sort, but after killing the big boss, all i got was this screen at the end that just keeps rolling the tunnel. Screen shot where the hovercraft looks funny is because it flipped on me for some reason and i never could get it back upright. Rather enjoyed the game, had a couple of funny moments in there that the developer included. All in all for the price i would recommend it.
Good game
i've been playing the game for a bit and so far i'm loving the quake / back in the day doom kinda feel the game has! awesome story with lore that makes you want to do the side quests to learn more about the inhabitants you come across, plus a funny dialogue system that makes each encounter funnier than the last! I'm currently on planet vylecks and am finding the different environments to be very refreshing and the increasing difficulty as you go makes gameplay entertaining! Lastly the combat and weapons feel great especially for a small dev and overall the game leaves you feeling satisfied and keeps you coming back for more! alright y'all i'm heading back to save humanity now!
fun game just a little rough and takes sometime to get used to.
