Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.71/day in the week to Aug 31 → 12.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
A zombie virus, airborne and with an incubation period lasting years, has suddenly swept across the entire world. Almost everyone is already infected. You are one of the rare few born immune to the pathogen. Do whatever it takes… survive.
Outstanding hit feedback, and the armor no longer provides abstract defense values — instead, it physically covers the body surface to block incoming damage.
Terrain, buildings, trees, rocks—everything can be destroyed !
Combine any building materials to create wildly imaginative mobile fortresses! Use Lua scripts for precision control over your vehicles—no coding experience? No problem, just plug and play.
Forests, ruins, deserts, canyons, rainforests, snowfields… blending into one seamless, endless procedural world.
Co-op is in full development… Coming soon.

Needs work but what is there is promising to shape up to be a great game, and deffo a 7D2D killer! Longer review to come a bit down the development road. Worth the money, I hope the devs complete it.

Exploration is fun, combat is mostly good (some bugs still being ironed out), zombies act like I would think zombies should. The worlds feel huge, crafting is rewarding, the various ruins are interesting. Every time I have died in game, I never said, "that was bull****." I always felt I could have done something better or came at the problem smarter. Typical early access issues and frequent updates. Just buy it, you'll get your moneys worth.
I seen this being played by JaWoodle, put it on my wishlist and here I am now. 4 hours in for my first day. For an EA I am really impressed and amazed how people are leaving negative reviews to be honest. Seems to be getting regular updates and support and I have only had some very basic glitches. Yes, this is my step away from 7 days, I've got a few different survival crafting games in my library but nothing has really been the right replacement but this really seems to be hitting the spot. Looking forward to co-op play as the Mrs will join then, we have put 100s of hours together on 7 days so this will be a nice change. Human Host needs some balancing with drops and weapons, I've got some really high tier stuff already which if they are going to drop early days would make them harder to get. Some learning curve on the creative side as well, but that is good, it's doing it's own thing. The only thing I would add is like where you find certain mats. Overal this is a good 7/8 out of 10 so far, and if the devs keep up with the updates and fixes I don't see why this wouldn't become a very popular survival, zombie, crafting game. Give it a go, if it's really not for you you will know pretty quickly and then you can just get a refund.
Spent three hours digging a hole to build a bunker. Ran around for an hour collecting wood before being killed by THE zombie that best represents an undead Hulk. Respawned and lost my bearings. Checked map to go back. Never found that hole again due to being distracted. 10/10 would do it again.
its pretty good i must say keep it up and it becomes better then 7d2d its still need alot of work but i think with time this game will become big 10/10
I strongly recommend this game! if the developers pay attention what the players say it could be even better them 7 days to die! I hoppe they are better them the developers of 7 days to die developers, on 7 days they are rude and arrogants!
Due to recent events, I am looking for a new Zombie crafting/survival game to play. Human Host is looking very good so far. It takes the genre back to its roots and builds from there. I especially like the dev, who is not only reading/interacting with player feedback, but acts on it swiftly. Thus far it has proven to be great fun and promises to get much better in the future. As an Alpha it is having the usual growing pains, but those are being dealt with quickly and have not diminished the enjoyment. A game I am actually excited about, a rare thing these days of AAA slop and half-baked games. Oh, and it already has modders in the works, doing their thing.
