HUBE: Seeker of Achievements (Steam Deck Review) Here we go with another achievement hunter game, but this one behaves pretty strangely on the Steam Deck. I’m honestly not sure how this is Steam Deck Verified. The moment it launches, it instantly tries to load all 5000 achievements at once, which completely froze my Deck. It locked up so badly that I had to hard power cycle the device just to bring it back online. Because of this, I never even touched the actual game. No menu, no gameplay, just an instant achievement dump followed by a full freeze. A game that crashes the hardware before you can even interact with it doesn’t exactly fit the “Verified” label. Maybe it runs fine on desktop, but on the Deck it clearly needs some optimisation or a verification recheck. And just to be clear, I’m only giving this a positive thumbs up because you do get 5000 achievements. Otherwise, this would be a negative review. If you’re collecting achievement hunter titles, it’s another one for the list… just know what you’re walking into on Steam Deck.
