Actually, im a HR person who loves playing games. I got really interested when i saw a game that simulates HR-related tasks. I relate to this game a lot because my job is similar. It’s not just about how to good at recruiting; it’s also about how to keep employees engaged as valuable assets to help the company grow. Since HR is human too, i often have to manage my mood while handling employees' moods, and i have to keep going even if im playing with my cat and eating instant noodles, lol. I finished the game in 3 hours, even though i had a few failures. Good Job! I believe you’ll develop this game into a full version with even more exciting features. The minigames and chara-design was so fun and cute! If you want to see how challenging it is to be in HR, give this game a try! And you know what? This game really made my day at my lowest point rn. From me, Pine approved!
From what I've seen so far, considering the price and the fact that it's an early access game, it's quite lovely. The artstyle, flow of the game, features, it's rather peaceful to play on relaxing evening. Even with the state of it now, I'd say it's a little rough around the edges with the mini-game (looking at you, timer minigame) and story. Then again, I truly hope it would be a labor of love the devs would update every now and then. Because i bet it would be a far more amazing game with a little more time.
I believe this game could have a lot of potential but right now the game feels really fast paced, I did not really understand the mini games, I liked the art and the design of the game but I can say that the gameplay still needs some work.

HR Simulator Feedback and Suggestions

01------What Kind of Employees Should I Hire?
The recruitment process is interesting, but I have no idea what kind of employees the company actually needs! Game designers, former video bloggers, robots, aliens... As an HR manager, I’m left guessing based solely on resumes and interviews. Suggestion: Design a system where the boss informs players of priority skills required by the company (e.g., urgent need for video editing skills). Candidates possessing these skills should receive a bonus score during interviews to reflect their added value.
02------Game Difficulty Needs Balancing
The difficulty gap between minigames is huge. For example, when training employees, you might get "Guess the Seconds" (e.g., press a button after exactly 12 seconds) or "Math Problems." Compared to "Guess the Seconds," getting "Math Problems" feels like a reward stage—just answer three simple arithmetic questions. Suggestion: Balance the difficulty across minigames, or dynamically adjust difficulty based on an employee’s learning ability to ensure consistent challenge levels.
03------Am I HR or an Emotional Counselor?
In the late game, the role shifts into being an emotional counselor. Every day, all four employees become "emo," and their moods directly impact productivity. The protagonist also has a mood meter, and with limited time, it’s easy to end up doing nothing but comforting employees. Once the team is fully hired and trained, the gameplay devolves into "Emotional Counselor Simulator." Suggestion: Expand HR-centric mechanics (e.g., add interview stages like written tests) and optimize the mood system—losing a mood point just for sleeping feels unnecessarily harsh.
04------Too many cutscenes, repetitive to the point of tedium.
The game has too many repetitive cutscenes. While the daily life snippets (commuting, waking up) are charming at first, they become tedious over time.
i always wondering how to be hr, rather trying it in real life i prefer just to play this game. I've been following their development from the demo and early access out just in 2 months with significant development. The minigame will be needed more variation, the interview mechanics is way different than before you are able to investigate and interact with the character rather than monotous like on the demo. There are lots of improvement from the demo, like the visual i think they upgraded a bit into 3d (?) it got little bit lags for low end device. the new training minigame it really kills me lol, i thought developer remove the countdown training since there are lots of people who doesnt like that gameplay. For me, the mathematics is really hard since there will be a possibilty negative number. I loved the countdown mechanics donot remove that! I think the developer tried to added the character some personality, i really wish next update we are able to know more the character rather than just to call them with the same dialong. but finding all of the character will be challenging lmao This is just my opinion, if you are looking for a very chill and soothing gameplay you might not like it the minigame since there are lots of thinking. But you dont actually really need to do all of that since the game still works totally fine without those. I believe the game really suits well for many type of gamer, You are able to strategize how to achieve your productivity poin or you can just collect every character you like or just meeting new people. I really recommend others to try the game This early access is still on chapter 1, i cant wait for the other chapter. (might change after full release ig)
a short, cozy management game with a unique perspective. we play as an HR called Ummu, who has a number of tasks—to recruit new employees, maintain employee's mental health (including Ummu herself), manage company money, etc. both visuals and mini games are great, though the soundtrack isn't my cup of tea... :( this game actually has potential, but it lacks on game mechanics. here's some feedback that might be useful for the teamdev: [olist] [*]i don't really understand how the recruitment process works, especially the said "red flag candidate". i just randomly clicked the dotted point on the CV without knowing if it was a red flag or not. maybe can specify a little bit of detail about it on HRTube feature, so that players will understand what's good or bad from the candidate [*] since it still an early access game, i understand that the game has limited the gameplay to only story mode. However, going back and forth between the dorm and the office is pretty boring. i wish unlocking a few places to interact would be implemented real soon [*]the point-click movement is okay, but it would be better if WASD or arrow button also included [*]maybe we can recruit more employees as the level increase(?) [*]the in-game settings are often inconsistent. i try to adjust the volume and the language to my preference, but somehow when i load the game, it resets to default. it's a bit annoying that i had to readjust the setting [/olist] overall, i really like this game and wish it has more contents in the future!
The gameplay is overall ok but not that fun! It's fun at the start, but once you have everything like a week or 2 week before the deadline, there's like nothing to do left and made it boring. It's like finishing all your assignments early and that's it, you're just left with waiting and let the day goes by to submit the assignment. Should add in-game event or more stuffs that can affect the gameplay dynamically, like gifting items/foods to employees, temporary inflation/deflation that increase/reduce prices of everything, etc. Hope it will be continued further!
I have a lot to say about this game. Yes, it does have potential, but I haven't seen it coming to fruit at this stage. Since it's still an early access, I will put this as an recommendation and see how it develops. Visual : The best aspect of this game. Cute illustrations, good animations (especially for special characters), warm painterly color palette, and memorable artstyle. The game truly has cozy and warm atmosphere. Really liked how the devs did the map too. The visual is always pleasing to see. Good job on that, I'm interested to buy an artbook if you plan to release one. My only gripe in this is the awkward placement of the tips during transition screen, it's just there without much thought. Gameplay : I get that the appeal of this game is interviewing and hiring employees as an HR. At the start, we do that. But as time goes on, there's no longer the need to hire new employee because we already acquired the ones we need and trained them well. After that, it's just a matter of chatting the employee who was stressed, go on an outing every once in a while, manage Ummu's mood, and training them. During my playthrough I only fired one character and kept the other employees until the end (in total I only met like 5 employee characters then). While I did manage to 'win' the chapter by maximizing their training and managing their mood well, the mid-late game felt like a chore to do. The core gameplay lacks depth after early stages. Wish the devs add more dynamics to the gameplay loop. Minigames : The minigames could be more fun. I truly dislike the countdown minigame, even if it's easier to do than the demo by now (again it feels like a chore to do instead of being fun, I don't see the point of keeping this minigame for full release). The mathematics minigame is okay and I do look forward to it instead of the countdown. I like the cat minigame, the concept is super cute. The cooking minigame is ... meh, it's just putting the same things in order. Please put more thought into future minigames. Control : It's okay, but it's still clunky. Sometimes Ummu doesn't go where I want her to go and I had a hard time making the interaction boxes appear because of that. I think it would be easier to add keyboard control for her instead of clicking. Or Ummu can just walk automatically to selected objects (like clicking on an employee automatically makes her walk to that person). Speaking of clicking, I wish I didn't have to click on the chat box everytime, It will be easier if I can just use a button (like SPACE) to continue the conversations right from the start. I do notice that I can use SPACE button to continue, but it always requires me to click on the chat box first (which is very bothersome). Hopefully the devs can add more ease to this part of the game. Sound design : For me, it's important to have pleasing sound design in cozy games. People might not realize it, but sound design can elevate a cozy gaming experience by a lot. Be it in BGM, button sound feedback, footstep sound, loading screen sound, and everything else. Unfortunately, HR Simulator hasn't reached that level of sound design, yet. It needs more work and attention. For example, the sneezing sound in the loading screen feels like it's in a room instead of outdoor (honestly,it is also a bit irritating to hear after some repetition). You can also add feedback sound when clicking or hovering on interaction boxes, etc. Other than that, I do like the main menu and map view BGM. Final note, I'm still interested to see how this is going to develop. Please don't rush the development that much, there are still a lot to be polished. Would love to know the roadmap and future releases.
