uncut depression straight into my veins
英語のみなのでちょっとハードルは高いかもしれないけど、是非プレイしてほしい。美しいドット絵と素敵な音楽、そして心を震わせるストーリー。最後ちょっと泣いちゃった…
Corto pero una buena historia en pixel art.

The story is quite sad (and the somber music ambiance does tremendous work setting the mood), but it also felt avoidable. Protagonist is clearly jaded based on her past feelings for her friend, and the way the home town treated her. Still, the moral of her story is that you should communicate regularly with your friends and loved ones. Even if they chose a different path than you would have liked, if they are still the same good person at heart then there is no justifiable reason to prioritize banal wage slavery over your relationships!
Backlog Review Nr. 5: How We Know We're Alive
(Completed) This is a really intimate and touching story that tackles a wide array of topics - Including loss, acceptance, maturing and facing reality. The game is brief and very well made on all fronts. The dialogue is fantastic. The art is gorgeous. The gameplay is good, but the fact that most locations are already visited at the start irks me a tad bit. As far as point-and-click sidescrolling games go, this game doesn't disappoint. It could have expanded on certain characters more, perchance. But whilst this wasn't a perfect experience, it was very unique and personal, and I wouldn't have been mad if I had paid money for this experience.
This game is so short that if I were to leave even a few hints as to what it contains, I would probably spoil it. So instead I'll say this. If you like story, if you have friends, even if you don't...or maybe you once did. Just play this. It's worth every moment.
Beautiful!
How We Know We’re Alive küçük ama çok samimi bir hikâye anlattı. Diyaloglar ve karakterler gerçek hissettirdi. Oynarken sakin ama duygulu bir yolculuk gibiydi. Ben beğendim, hikâye odaklı kısa deneyimleri sevenlere öneririm.
i cried 10/10
A beautiful if at times tragic short story about being human. Simple and casual play style. Well worth the play if you're into story-first games that punch you in the heart. Thank you to the developers for making this work of art :)
