HOW WE KNOW WE'RE ALIVE

Short pixel art indie game which is detective-like but mainly dialogue. Worth it for a free game, if you want to follow an emotional story about friendship and see some nice pixel art.

Très beau et émouvant

Um jogo bem rapidinho, porém muito memorável. Desde que joguei, volta e meia me pego relembrando a trama e seus personagens. Além de retratar de forma bem realista a experiência de crescer numa cidade pequena, demonstra muito bem a mentalidade de alguém "diferente" que sempre se sentiu confinado nesses espaços. É menos um jogo e mais um curta metragem interativo; daria um conto muito bonito. A pixel art é linda.

This was a short and sweet game. I wish there were achievements. I like the backgrounds and scenery a lot.

In a world where everyone is so full of themselves, nobody checks on their "loved ones" anymore. Your friend could be grieving, or could be not, but they could be not with you tomorrow anymore and maybe you haven't even checked on them. Things happen, they could go on some accident, catch some illness, and so many more things. But you don't check on them. One-sided friendships are real and more common nowadays. Great game to have some guys wake upon a crude reality of life.

Hauntingly beautiful short story. I wanted to check this out after wishlisting their upcoming game. I would recommend this lovely narrative if you are into story games.
