Incredible game by an amazing Canadian Twitch streamer!!!
Cute first game Zaps! For a quick little horror game this game did a great job of invoking that uneasy feeling you get by playing certain horror games. Could see this game being a lot longer with a much bigger story too. Love the style, too!
A great debut title! I really wish there were more horror titles like this that take inspiration from The Sims. Too many indie horror games focus on overwhelming you with scary environments like asylums, haunted houses, and graveyards instead of taking cues from cinema and contrasting the mundane life of suburbia with horrific events. Gameplay-wise, it's a typical item collecting puzzle game, but the unique visuals and fun urban legend inspired story (think films like House of the Devil) are more than enough to carry this game. Make some more games!
Fun little game with a mystery and a puzzle. Zap knocked it out of the park with the first game! Hope there's more to come.
House of the Vigil was a thrilling and entertaining experience from start to finish! I really felt immersed in Anna Turner's story. For just ONE person working on this entire game it is a masterpiece!
Very fun, worth every penny. Encountered a small game breaking bug, but was able to speedrun back to said spot. Overall, how fun.
I loved this game, it wasn't over the top with jump scares. The jump scares were timed perfectly and I was not expecting ANY of them which was amazing. The graphics were amazing, I always love when graphics are like this in any game. this game did it really well. Overall an amazing game, would love to see a longer and bigger game in the future!
Amazing gameplay!!!! Great story!! Loved this game!
Great game for any indie dev, let alone a first game. I need more - we have questions that need answered.. where did she go? who IS Ben? Why was Ana?
A great debut title! It's got a unique isometric and old school point and click style to it, almost felt a little reminiscent of the Sims 1. Didn't have any difficulties or bugs and had a bunch of little creepy moments throughout. Well worth the price and definitely recommend checking it out!
