dear dev you should played motel manager before making this sh*t ,
Got a nice lovely room set up for my first guest and was very tempted to host a 2nd guest which would result in a solid passive income, however I was seduced by the fierce lady known only as "black jack" resulting in two weeks of grinding just to escape the succubus known as "bank". Would still gamble again :)
Definitely too early for even early access. - Avatar is so slow that snail would be faster (even with holding shift, also no way to change it to toggle). - Things are not explained at all, how to switch modes, were your furniture and supplies get to after delivery 9maybe it is not big, but still running around motel to find where are your things?) - I delivered item guest wanted, and I got only rep? - Graphic maybe is not terrible in general, but but NPCs are horrible Developer should work more on game first at it lacks of basics of basics.
Hotel Manager Simulator is a business management game that focuses on the satisfying process of transforming a small, struggling property into a thriving luxury hotel empire. Developed and published by Black Sea Studios, the game blends construction mechanics, financial management, staff coordination, and guest satisfaction systems into a relaxing but steadily engaging simulation experience. While the genre already contains many tycoon and hotel management titles, this game succeeds by emphasizing accessibility, creative freedom, and gradual progression rather than overwhelming players with overly complex mechanics. It may not be the deepest management simulator available, but it provides enough customization and strategic decision-making to keep hotel-building fans entertained for long stretches of time. The gameplay begins with a modest hotel and limited resources, forcing players to carefully manage budgets while slowly expanding operations. New rooms, decorative upgrades, restaurants, recreational facilities, and luxury amenities gradually become available as profits increase. One of the game’s most satisfying elements is the visible sense of growth that comes from watching a small property slowly evolve into a busy and expensive hospitality complex. Every successful expansion feels meaningful because improvements directly affect guest satisfaction, income generation, and hotel reputation. The building and customization systems are easily the game’s strongest feature. Players are given a large amount of control over room layouts, interior decoration, furniture placement, and facility organization. Designing attractive hotel spaces becomes surprisingly addictive because even small aesthetic improvements help the property feel more professional and welcoming. There is enough flexibility to allow creativity without making construction systems overly complicated or difficult to learn. Whether building a compact budget motel or a massive luxury resort, the game encourages players to experiment with layouts and visual styles to maximize both efficiency and guest happiness. Managing customers adds another enjoyable layer to the simulation. Guests arrive with different budgets, expectations, and preferences, forcing players to adapt hotel services to meet various needs. Some customers are satisfied with simple accommodations, while wealthier visitors demand premium rooms, entertainment facilities, restaurants, and higher-quality service. Balancing affordability, comfort, and profitability becomes increasingly important as the hotel grows larger. The game does a good job of making guest satisfaction feel directly connected to management decisions, giving players a constant incentive to improve both aesthetics and functionality. Staff management also becomes more important over time. Receptionists, cleaners, maintenance workers, chefs, and service employees must all be hired and managed efficiently to keep the hotel operating smoothly. As the business expands, staffing decisions begin affecting customer satisfaction and operational costs more heavily. Understaffing can lead to poor service and unhappy guests, while overstaffing quickly cuts into profits. Although the employee systems are not as detailed as those found in more hardcore business simulators, they provide enough strategic depth to keep the management side of the game engaging. Visually, Hotel Manager Simulator uses a bright and colorful presentation that fits its relaxed tone well. The hotels themselves become visually rewarding projects as they grow larger and more detailed. Watching guests move through busy lobbies, restaurants, elevators, and hallways helps create the feeling of running a living business rather than simply managing numbers on menus. The graphics are not especially advanced technically, but the environments remain clean, readable, and pleasant throughout long sessions. The sound design supports the atmosphere effectively with calm background music and subtle environmental sounds that reinforce the slow-paced management gameplay. The overall tone of the game remains relaxing rather than stressful, which makes it easy to spend hours adjusting layouts, upgrading facilities, and watching profits steadily increase. Unlike some management games that bombard players with nonstop crises and pressure, Hotel Manager Simulator focuses more on gradual improvement and creative expansion. Another strength is the game’s accessibility. The interface is relatively straightforward, and new mechanics are introduced gradually enough for newcomers to understand without becoming overwhelmed. Players who normally avoid complex simulation games will likely find this title easier to approach than many competitors in the genre. The systems are deep enough to remain engaging but simplified enough to avoid becoming exhausting. However, the game also suffers from several noticeable limitations. The management systems, while enjoyable, can eventually feel somewhat shallow compared to more advanced tycoon simulators. Guest behavior lacks significant complexity, economic systems become predictable after several hours, and long-term strategic planning is less demanding than players expecting a hardcore simulation experience might want. Once players fully understand the most efficient layouts and management strategies, the challenge begins to fade considerably. The AI also struggles occasionally. Guests and staff sometimes behave awkwardly, particularly in larger hotels where pathfinding issues become more noticeable. Employees may fail to respond efficiently during busy periods, and customer movement can occasionally look unnatural or disorganized. These issues are not severe enough to ruin the experience, but they become increasingly noticeable as hotels become more complicated. Repetition is another problem that emerges during extended sessions. While building and expanding hotels remains enjoyable for a long time, the gameplay loop eventually settles into predictable routines. There are relatively few unexpected events or advanced management challenges to disrupt established strategies once a stable income stream is secured. Some players may eventually wish for more dynamic systems, deeper economic simulation, or larger gameplay variety to maintain long-term engagement. Technical polish is somewhat inconsistent as well. Performance issues can occasionally appear in larger hotels with many guests and decorative objects, and some interface elements feel clunky during busy management periods. A few systems also lack the refinement and smoothness found in larger-budget simulation games. While these technical shortcomings rarely become game-breaking, they reinforce the feeling that the game still has room for improvement. Despite these flaws, Hotel Manager Simulator succeeds because its core gameplay loop is genuinely satisfying. The process of designing hotels, improving guest satisfaction, managing employees, and steadily expanding into a profitable hospitality empire remains consistently enjoyable. The game understands the appeal of gradual progression and creative construction, which helps compensate for the lack of deeper simulation complexity. For players who enjoy tycoon games, management simulators, and creative business sandboxes, Hotel Manager Simulator offers a relaxing and entertaining experience with strong customization systems and rewarding long-term growth. It may not become the definitive hotel simulation game, but it delivers enough strategic management and creative freedom to provide many enjoyable hours for fans of the genre. Rating: 7/10
Man muss dran bleiben.
