Warning: Asset Flip!
Horror Manor is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Spilled Coffee Games/Downmeadowstreet, took the Horror FPS Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, ThunderWire Studio, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "Horror FPS Kit" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from Spilled Coffee Games/Downmeadowstreet:

"VERGE:Lost chapter", asset flipped by GDNomaD
"INDICTED", asset flipped by 616 GAMES
Take a look for yourself... these are all exactly the same game! The "developer" here is either an alt account or closely related to famous Steam asset flip scammer, Tero Lunkka, and features fake reviews from his user accounts in a blatant act of review manipulation. Because this is an almost exact 1:1 copy + paste of the original Unity asset, it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, Section 2, Subsection 2.2.1a:
Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely:(a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets ("Licensed Product") as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product
Because the developer misused the asset pack such that it comprises the vast majority of this "game", the developer has unethically and deliberately breached the license agreement. Worse, this intellectual property violation was done in an attempt to profit from their illicit actions. Why is this permitted on Steam? The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Horror FPS Kit" is just an asset pack and game engine intended to teach people how to make horror/FPS adventure games, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Spilled Coffee Games/Downmeadowstreet.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Although the game has the vibes to be a horror game the total play time is about 20 min... for me this game should be free to play ... No Story at all , they just throw you outside of a manor and thats it... a few jumpscares here and there ... the graphics look good .. it has potential if it gets bigger as a whole game...
Played on Linux using Proton Exp, In your face jump scares with loud sound, Very Dull, Asset mansion map, Some Objects are going through the floor (Chair on the second floor with the safe in the room), No Story, Only one peace of paper to read, Key Collecting Sim, Flashlight and battery's can be found but not once did i need to use the flashlight, It's to bright so flashlight not needed, Will take 20 to 25 Minutes to complete and you will get all 2 Achievements in that time, and no reason to play the game again, Feels more like a Tech Demo then a Full Game, Keyboard setting have keys/mouse settings to "Shoot" but no Guns in the Game?, perk left/right but no reason at all to do this?, I guess it was bought/free source code and it is an asset map then just chucked together with no real thought put in to the Game and left features/Keyboard/mouse Settings that are not needed for this basic walking sim/key collection sim. Not Recommended.
10 минут мусора, никакого смысла и логики в игре нет
Hot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Short horror game. Run around and find keys and one combination. 1 easy puzzle. Graphic is nice. Atmosphere ok. Couple jump scares. Easy Achievements, 100% / 30min.
In this scary and intimidating horror game, you have to search the haunted house for keys and much more so you can discover the demon's secret.. It won't be easy though, the demon is constantly watching your every step and will try to stop you.. Always be on the lookout while you complete various tasks.. Might be the best game I have ever played. Especially for the price.
I do not recommend
A good demo.. however, nobody should pay for this. This is a very short proof of concept / Demo. It does not feel like a full game. Can be beaten in like 5 minutes. Minimal story elements... Just jump scares and finding a key in 1 room to open the door in another.
