I think this game is generally pretty solid. The gameplay is great, the story is decently good so far, and the complaints I do have are mostly directed at some bugs and general 'scaling'. As somebody who doesn't fight literally everything in my path, the Chilchek fight felt awkward, since they would constantly two-shot me. On top of that, I'm not sure if it's a bug or otherwise, but there were times in that fight where I would be stuck dashing in a single direction and starting the animation for Ragna Blade. Apart from that fight, the audio mixing is a little weird, with the magic activation noise being incredibly loud compared to just about everything else, apart from more minor things. Overall though, I'm giving this a positive because I'd genuinely love to see where this game goes in the future, and I'll keep my eye on it for its high potential.

"Horizon To Crinoa: Have Faith in Radiance -Prototype-" is one of those "What's the point" projects annoying Steam gamers who look for real, fully made, complete games. Instead the developers decided Steam Direct is for unfinished and abandoned attempts to make games (and I stress the word "attempt" here). They dumped what they admit is a prototype action RPG... considerably worse than most AAA ARPGs already on Steam, onto the platform, for no apparent reason apart from to pollute Steam with things that aren't full games, to the benefit of nobody. It's another case of developers putting their own desires above what's good for gamers, and when developers don't give a flying F$@# about what's good for gamers, it makes gaming worse for everyone. As is the case here. What do you do in the game? Lightweight ARPG combat with 1.5 characters and nothing else. Despite not being in Early Access, it's obvious this is an incomplete product. Developers have an obligation to deliver complete, not partially done products to gamers, that shouldn't be controversial. Whatever the excuses may be, it does no service to gamers for incomplete products polluting Steam like this. It makes it harder for gamers to find complete games, and it makes it harder for ethical developers who do the right thing to find their audience. On the important subject of visuals, this features fairly low quality stylised/cartoony low poly 3D graphics. It comes across as the kind of thing you see on mobile phones and Nintendo games, which will deter a lot of PC gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and to be considered one of the best games on Steam, the graphics have to be some of the best on Steam. That's not happening here. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC gamers use. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. They have their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money from buying empty DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. A peak of 7 concurrent players (according to SteamDB) for a "free" game is a disastrous public reception. Out of 130 million potential players here on Steam, almost nobody was interested. Even though this is "free". That level of rejection speaks a lot for the quality of the game. Given that this free game won't increase your game collector count, is it worth your time to add it to your library? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
cool:)
10/10, no esperaba que una campaña me enganchara tanto a que pasara pero esta genial
-EDITED AFTER PATCH 1.4- Stability has been greatly improved since I last played the game. Most of the previous complaints about bugs have been fixed, and I can actually get further into the game to review the combat system. With some number tweaking and balancing, This could be an interesting growth system. I like how moves can be freely customized per input. I would have preferred if the alternate combos were done with a single macro instead of pressing normal and special buttons together, it's kinda awkward on a controller. Maybe switch the alt combo input and the input for that big 20-second ult. Movement is nice and loose, but it's really easy to get stunlocked and shredded by a beam or multi-hitting attack. Parry signifiers are kind of hard to see past the particle-heavy effects. Would like a way to tell that an enemy is dead (Or just have them fade/dissolve out) cause I sometimes find myself targeting them without knowing they're already dead. -November 2023, Outdated review- [THE THUMBS DOWN IS ONLY FOR THE TECHNICAL BUGS, NOT THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY] The game's UI, character design, artwork, music, action, and environments are all charming and I really want to like this game but the software itself really needs heavy working on. It's basically a roll of the dice what goes wrong with each time I restart the game -Sometimes the music doesn't play at all -Sometimes the game chugs a bunch during combat -It never seems to remember whenever I change the inputs or audio volume, every time I either load a save or start a new game, the controls go back to default -When I press A to show the full dialogue in the text box, it ends the voice audio. Sometimes it doesn't even advance the dialogue but it still ends the voice audio. -The list of places that the game's stopped responding from both controller and keyboard/mouse range from in the "skip cutscene" confirmation box, in the change input menu, way too many times in post-battle rating screen, etc.
Horizon To Crinoa: Have Faith in Radiance -Prototype-, klasik JRPG'lerden ilham alan derinlemesine RPG istatistikleri, yetenekler ve sistemlerle karıştırılmış, yüksek hızlı, şık aksiyon oyunu mücadelesine sahip, küçük ölçekli bir prototip anime tarzı, aksiyon RPG'sidir! Bize ne kadar yetenek ortaya çıkarabileceğinizi gösterin!
Would of loved to play this game, however it is so bad for PC play, controls are poor, cannot be changed, camera stutter is big, it's a shame really I was looking forward to this.
This is a game made for a high school project. Lot of bugs. Clunky controls. Audio bad. Why publish this?
