For 4 bucks, you get a short, sweet indie horror experience. Worth it.

Niezły survival horrorowy FPS, który przewodzi na myśl "Nightmare of Decay", czy "Dead Beacon", ale pod każdym względem od nich gorszy. Nie jest to jednak słaba gra. Rozgrywka, pomimo swojej celowej prostoty, jest wciągająca i satysfakcjonująca. Eksplorujemy miejscówki w poszukiwaniu kluczy i przedmiotów, które pozwolą nam się dostać do kolejnych miejsc. Po drodze oczywiście eliminujemy wrogów. Do dyspozycji jednak mamy tylko siekierę, pistolet i jakiś karabin. Niewiele, ale gra też nie jest długa (2 godziny), więc nawet nie odczujemy tego braku różnorodności. I tak zazwyczaj rozwalałem łby siekierą. Na bossów zostawiałem karabin a na silniejszych przeciwników pistolet. Gra stylizowana na PSX, choć niezbyt udanie. Dominują tanie, słabe tekstury. Niemniej ma to też jakiś swój urok. Modele postaci kukiełkowe. Strzelanie wykonane jest dość słabo. Walka siekierą to spamowanie przycisku ataku. Występuje nierzadko dziwna kolizja, bo kule nie dosięgały przeciwników, choć ich trafiały. Ogólnie zdarzało się, że prawidłowo oddany cios, czy strzał nie ranił w ogóle przeciwnika. Tania. 6/10 - można zagrać.

If you like classic survival horror, this game is definitely for you! It will take you back to the good times of PS1. It certainly creates an atmosphere of fear.

One of my favorite indie horror games of 2024 so far. It reminds me of Lost in Vivo a little bit in aesthetic and there's a good bit of exploration. The game is about 1.5 hours long so it's worth the price and the story was interesting. There's some variety in the enemies and the environments so you're not gonna be bored with the places you visit in the game. The music was really good too - it had kind of a Silent Hill vibe to it. There are a couple little downsides imo. The melee combat isn't great. The enemies can hit you from really far back but you have to be right against them to hit them and hit detection seems really off. The guns work pretty well though. The game could probably use a map but it's not massive enough that you're going to be lost too much. If you're looking for a new horror game, this is one of the more interesting ones that have released this year so go ahead and check it out. Achei um jogo muito interessante, realmente me pegou de surpresa a princípio parecia ser um jogo simples mas a medida que fui jogando e a história foi se desenrolando realmente gostei muito do que vi. A atmosfera do jogo é muito legal e eu realmente curto muito esse estilo de gráfico retrô. Pelo preço que é cobrado pelo game e pelo tempo de gameplay e diversão que ele vai te proporcionar realmente vale muito a pena, a gameplay é dinâmica e não é massante e repetitiva mesmo com a pouca variedade de inimigos, o desenvolvedor soube trabalhar muito bem com isso.No fim do dia Hope is gone é uma experiência cativante e com certeza eu gostaria de ver mais sobre isso no futuro. Comprem sem medo!

Absolutely hooked on this game! The nostalgic PS1 graphics give it a brilliant touch, adding a unique charm to the game. The gameplay had me on the edge with some genuine scares. It's a very engaging horror game! Highly recommended for horror games fans for its price!
