This is a Foddian game where you play as a girl on a pogo stick. The goal is simple: climb to the top. But like any game in this genre, one wrong move can cost you minutes—or even hours—of progress. The controls are janky by design. You move and adjust your speed with the mouse, and jump with Space. Your jump direction depends on your current momentum, and the power is determined by your timing. It’s incredibly clunky, and you'll often find yourself missing a frame-perfect jump and plummeting back to the start. The dev recommends using a controller, so that might be a smoother experience than M&K. One thing the game doesn't tell you: there’s a limited checkpoint system. You can craft a checkpoint by picking up flag items. Getting from one flag to the next essentially acts as a level. [spoiler]There’s a hidden one if you jump to the right from the starting area.[/spoiler] My biggest gripe is the lack of polish in the atmosphere. Since you’ll be repeating the same sections over and over, you’re forced to look at the same dull backgrounds and listen to a repetitive soundtrack. It gets boring fast. I ended up muting the game and playing my own music. I can't recommend this to the average gamer. Only pick this up if you’re a platforming master who can clear it quickly, or if you’re a masochist who truly loves Foddian games.
