About

In Homicide Desk you work a homicide the way a real detective's desk works: a case file lands, a short list of suspects, and a screen full of tools. No waypoints, no glowing clues, no cutscenes telling you what to think. Read the evidence, run the lab, and question your suspects in your own words — then decide who you're willing to charge.
Get it right and the case closes. Get it wrong and Internal Affairs opens a file on you.

There is no dialogue tree. Type whatever you want and your suspect answers back in natural, conversational language — deflecting, rationalizing, contradicting themselves. Slide a document across the table and watch their stress meter spike. Push too hard on nothing and they lawyer up and walk. Corner them with the right evidence and the story finally cracks.

Everything lives on the desktop, and you have to actually use it:
Case files — dig through nested folders of reports, statements and photos.
Forensics lab — you don't click "analyze." You align the fingerprint, break the cipher, and calibrate the chromatograph yourself, against the clock.
phone records & photo evidence — flag the timestamp, cross-reference the calls, drag the UV light across the print.
Locked & sealed documents — some files won't open until you've earned the code or unsealed them in interrogation.

A rain-soaked, fictional port city in the Republic of Meridia, rendered as a CRT-era police OS — scanlines, a working world clock, weather on the taskbar, and a case that pushes back in real time with pressure emails and a mid-case twist.
Free-text suspect interrogations that respond to your questions and your evidence
Hands-on forensics, phone-record and photo-analysis puzzles
A physical evidence board with string connections and a case-chain tracker
Written deductions with real consequences for a wrong arrest
Multiple guilty-party variants — reopen a solved case and the truth changes
A living precinct: salary economy, patrol dispatch, commissary, side games
Fully playable in English and Arabic, with full right-to-left support
The case is open, Detective. The desk is yours.

This is fun but kind of confusing and can be tedious. It could use more explanations about alot in game especially the cipher type things and such as who the heck knows how to even do that?

very cool and immersive play. Not much of a content though. Fot fot that price I have lots of fun interrogaing a decent AI. Is really fun.
As someone who loves true crime and watches detective shows most nights, this game is honestly right up my street. I’ve been really enjoying how immersive it is, and there’s something so satisfying about putting all the clues together and finally solving a case. It’s definitely one of those games where I’ve found myself looking forward to coming back to it, and I’m already excited to play more. If you’re into true crime, detective games or just enjoy figuring things out, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.
A super and highly addictive game! I totally love it. It can make you lose your sleep. Hahaha.
As someone who's played a decent amount of mystery/detective games (Ace Attorney, cyberman hunt, Orwell) and puzzle games, I actually quite enjoyed myself with this game and it's core gameplay mechanics. PRO: You're in full control of the investigation pace. There is no solid "time limit" to each case, even though the game may seem to pressure you through emails of lawyers and your employer wanting you to solve the case quickly. CON: I've noticed sometimes that clues you already discovered need to be pointed out again to some of the people your interrogating in order to trigger the requirements to make the arrest warrant available. This can be tedious because even if you solved that part of the puzzle, you'd need to trigger the specific instance to fulfill the requisite for the arrest warrant through a specific way (i.e. asking one person in an interrogation about the evidence even when you discovered it via another person). PRO: Free reign of the interrogations. The flexibility of being able to ask anything in interrogations is very refreshing, instead of choosing from a set amount of choices. CON: AI will be AI - sometimes when you ask a question, the person you ask it too will repeat certain phrases even when you weren't asking about them. Of course, I expect this to get better overtime, but it's acceptable so far. It just breaks the immersion sometimes/causes mild frustration when you're trying to probe for a specific piece of information. PRO: You need to explain in your own words and present evidence why and how the killer pulled off the murder for the arrest warrant. Your deduction score is calculated at the end (I'm assuming after AI goes through your discussion). The concept itself is something I appreciate, rather than you just pointing out who the killer is, you're expected to explain how all the evidence contributes to your case in your own words, which is not the kind of freedom you'd expect in other deduction games. CON: It's like a graded essay, in a way. I'm unsure what the criteria is to get a higher deduction, I suppose it bases it off how concise you can be while tying all the evidence together. Sometimes it can be frustrating to be graded on a case, but not know what you could have improved, when you went over all the clues and explained them clearly (as you think you would have done). PRO: Lots of tools at your disposal to customize your playthrough of each investigation. Each case brought in new core gameplay elements, ranging from forensics, accessing databases, using UV lights, etc. CON: Sometimes I feel the game handholds you too much. I hope there's an option in the future to turn off specific cues when you are interrogating suspects (i.e. the ones that point out what you found and why it's important). I wish there was a way to turn off this option/consolidate it to the notebook with the notif saying "notebook updated." I also wish there was a way to turn off cues on photos where it literally tells you "there's something hidden here, use a UV light." Pro: The evidence board can be used to organize your thoughts Con: It's a little finicky and overwhelming when you have so many sticky notes on the page and even when you tidy it up, you need to move a lot of stuff around in order to cleanly connect evidence. It's not a requirement, I just wish there was a way where you could right click -> add evidence/statement type instead of seeing like 40 clues all at once taking up the board. These are just some of the impressions I got from playing through the game. It's not perfect, but the concept is intriguing. TLDR: If you don't mind the occasional AI conversations sounding a bit off, I'd recommend this game for those who are looking for a new detective game.
Its fun, can be a little hectic at first because the game doesn't hand hold at all there are no ways to get hints about information or sometimes where to start the game just jumps right in after the tutorial which holds a lot of the real features back. It doesn't look like the gameplay video that is advertised but its a bit similar not as animated and honestly a lot less enjoyable than the video of the gameplay it shows but it would be a decent game if some things were tweaked
Sehr cooles Spiel, freue mich auf mehr
