Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful graphics, and the music sets the mood - just like the original game. The original game was released 26 years ago, anyone critizing this game for not delivering the same experience, the same feel or the the same revelation as the first game in this series did is lost in time. I have evolved, the world has evolved - and the hardware has evolved. The story is solid, the cut-scenes are a bit too much at times, the battles are good. All in all, a good game. I finished the campaign in about 7 hours, the missions where good - and as always, I wish for more. Recommended!
A wasted opportunity to relaunch a Homeworld franchise.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A me è piaciuto
Good game
Great game
Gave the game a shot but it's just bad in every way and it feels like it was designed by people that didn't play the other games in the series and didn't care to continue the narrative style. Even weaker titles like deserts of kharak still continued the narrative and meaningfully added to it. All of that might be accepted if the game were actually fun and/or interesting which it isn't, the characters are not engaging and the dialogue was clearly written by one with little vocation for story telling. The gameplay is terribly boring and the controls indicate little to no play testing. Clearly no one at any point was interested in making this a good game, just another case of too much money and too little passion producing yet more slop. The visuals aren't even that impressive with large set pieces and no thought to overall atmospherics. Overall you can see the influence of other franchises like halo and star wars but little influence from homeworld (they probably just saw screenshots from earlier titles) Only focusing on creating lackluster visuals they didn't consider how the RTS aspect would work so it's just about pressing buttons until the level ends. A waste of bandwidth and energy to download and a waste of time and patience to play.
