Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Хорошая игра, хорошо что решился ее купить несмотря на такое количество отрицательных отзывов
Pre-title screen load puts the game into an infinite unresponsive application hang. Effectively unplayable on my (and other people's) computer

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A year after release, and there are still bugs associated with cinematics. Gameplay is fair, but immersion is not.
Homeworld 3 is a visually spectacular RTS that successfully recreates the series' signature 3D space combat. The fleet battles are strategic, cinematic, and enhanced by impressive graphics and sound design. According to many gaming outlets, the core gameplay remains strong, but the campaign story, user interface, and some design decisions prevent it from reaching the legendary status of its predecessors. Despite its flaws, it still offers an enjoyable experience for fans of large-scale sci-fi strategy games. Score: 7.5/10 A good sequel with moments of brilliance, but not quite the triumphant return many Homeworld fans were hoping for.
7/10 for me My rating might be higher because I went into this with low expectations based on reviews. 5/10 - story/plot it was kinda boring but sorta interesting 8/10 - gameplay feels like you usual homeworld DNA 7/10 - OST has its usual homeworld theme as well ok but doesnt hit as hard as older games 7/10 - Visuals are nice but unfortunately my gpu is too old to utilize any of the upscaling properly so it was blurry all the time overall it scratched the homeworld itch for me sorta, I enjoy playing homeworld and it kinda felt like a homeworld expansion by keeping all the usual sound effects and controls. What would have been really nice if they introduced something new and interesting, like new kind of arsenal/ships, but mostly everything is the same. The older homeworlds like emergence or 2 where you explore mysteries and capture a Progenitor was peak. If they had something that added mystery/acquiring would have been really cool, or dealing witth a new kind of anomaly/mystery would have spiced things up. The from the beginning missions till maybe 70% into the game felt like a cakewalk and super fast like 10-15m gameplay. Which was fine by me because sometimes I lose patience in games last few missions definitely have the longer combat feel like older homeworld. Either way these Devs had real big pants to fill which i would say is quite difficult for a third sequel. Expectations would usually be very high, don't often see 3rd sequels doing very well.
Homeworld 3 is not just an RTS. It is a cathedral in space where every battle feels like a holy war waged in silence among the stars. From the first time you zoom in to watch strike craft weaving between the hulks of shattered capital ships, you realize this isn’t about clicking fast—it’s about commanding with reverence. The game demands patience, foresight, and the humility to accept that sometimes, despite your best-laid plans, your glorious fleet will be erased because you forgot that ships have verticality. The comedy comes when you realize you aren’t the tactical genius you thought you were. I once sent a proud column of frigates charging into battle, only to watch them shredded in seconds because I forgot to scout above the battlefield and missed an enemy carrier looming overhead. Another time I accidentally parked my fleet in the path of a radiation storm, and the only thing left afterward was the faint echo of my shame. If Helldivers 2 is slapstick freedom and Dune: Awakening is cruel desert irony, then Homeworld 3 is the quiet, cosmic comedy of watching your empire burn because you clicked slightly too far to the left. Beneath those mistakes, though, lies the same haunting beauty that made the original Homeworld a legend. The lore is weighty—descendants of the Kushan and Hiigarans still carry the scars of exile and victory, and every ship is a floating monument to that history. You don’t just command units; you command relics, families, cultures bound in steel and plasma. The music swells, the silence of the void wraps around you, and every encounter feels less like a mission objective and more like a chapter in an interstellar epic. Mechanically, it is sharp and demanding. Positioning is everything, line of sight matters, and terrain (yes, in space) can be as deadly as an enemy ion cannon. Battles are not brawls but ballets—carefully choreographed movements where one wrong step can cost you everything. When you win, it isn’t a matter of brute force—it feels earned, the product of foresight, adaptation, and sometimes sheer desperation. Homeworld 3 isn’t just another RTS. It’s a reminder that space is vast, beautiful, and merciless. It makes you laugh at your own incompetence and then humbles you with the sheer grandeur of its design. It is a game where defeat feels poetic, victory feels historic, and every moment in between feels like it belongs in a space opera. Would I send another fleet to its doom while whispering “for Hiigara”? Absolutely. Again and again, until the stars themselves fade.
as a fan and player of the original games several times over i hesitated buying this game due to bad reviews... the reviews made me miss out on this game, i love it, the feel and style is unmistakingly homeworld and felt right at home striaght away, great new features and tactics and a great story so far. for the first time in a long time ive ended a day thinking about the game i enjoyed and looking forward to the next time i can play.
