Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is a nice war game
game is broken... freezes a lot, and i keep falling through the map. Can't even get through the first mission.
It's fine. Gunplay is simple but feels pretty good. Except 2 levels in which u basically just walk after your npc mates, the levels are pretty good altough very similar to eachother. There's not much variety. The story is weak and uninteresting. I enjoyed this short game and had a good laugh at some bugs and funny moments here and there.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This was an astrocious experience even for a 2010 game. Story: The premise of the setting is very promising and actually really interesting. Though completely unrealistic and even hilarious that North Korea could unite Korea again. Nonetheless a story where the US is the underdog once was a fresh experience. Only MW2 did this for its US campaign. It falls really flat with a poor characterization and care for the characters, even though the roster for them is already small it still fails to create memorable companions that you care about. Which is ironic because this war scenario would had been the best way for intimate and emotional scenes because they all affected by an invasion and the tragedy that struck them and their families. We got bland, surface level people we forget after one playthrough. You are an US Army pilot being extracted out of a invaded city. You see the atrocities the KPA commits and how little they care about the American citizens. Openly executing parents in front of their child and arrests that end up suffocating them with plastic bags. What starts as an immersive and gritty introduction gets destroyed by a goofy scene where you get out by getting rammed with a semi. Which flips the bus and kills the other people inside it except you... And these incompetents will be your companions for the rest of the game. The main mission is to gather one chopper and fuel for an attack on San Francisco. The missions drag on and are very shallow for that interesting world building it got. Kind of ruining the picture for an underdog US when they take the bridge by full force at the end of the game with MBTs, APCs, multiple helos and fighter jets. Gameplay: The gameplay is largely standard FPS stuff. With the exception of really really poor handling of the guns and atrocious gun sounds that sound ridicolous, it is also very janky than other shooters from 2010. Singularity and Black Ops for example feel much better on even modern system. Technical: The game runs bad, has screen tearing and if very janky, often dying from inescapable instant kills and getting stuck sometimes is really easy. The levels are so linear that you can predict where to go from miles away, it also doesn't help that you always need to rely onto your NPC comrades to move forward. Dragging the game time massively. Verdict: Don't buy this game, I got it for free back then and its multiplayer was actually the better part of this game. It had a cool idea with the star level threat system, but sadly the multiplayer is dead. At least when trying to play it vanilla via Steam. I can't say much about it, except that it was the more fun part of this game.
'Homefront' distinguishes itself within the military shooter genre through its compelling narrative premise and its chillingly grounded depiction of a near-future occupation. Written by John Milius, the story moves away from typical frontline warfare to focus on a civilian-led resistance, creating a sense of urgency and emotional stakes that many of its contemporaries lack. The atmospheric world-building—transforming familiar American suburbs into occupied zones—is executed with a gritty realism that makes the struggle feel personal and impactful, successfully elevating the campaign beyond a standard action experience. The gameplay is bolstered by a solid mechanical foundation that balances tight, responsive gunplay with memorable set-piece moments. Whether engaging in hit-and-run tactics alongside the resistance or utilizing unique hardware like the "Goliath" drone, the missions are paced effectively to keep the momentum high. Furthermore, the multiplayer component offers an innovative "Battle Points" system, rewarding on-the-fly tactical choices and allowing for a dynamic flow of combat that feels distinct from other shooters of the era. It remains a standout title for players who value a strong, narrative-driven campaign paired with robust, objective-based competitive play.
Tried to be a Battlfield/COD clone and failed miserably. Boring campaign, multiplayer sucked and it was behind its time even back in 2011.
Homefront is probably not the worst FPS I have or will ever play but it is definitely somewhere near the bottom of the pack. Aiming down the sights being a state that you enable and disable via a button press rather than simply holding is enough of an impediment to such a crucial mechanic that it makes the whole experience feel so unnecessarily clunky. If you play this then prepare to be constantly, ludicrously, outmanned and, while your enemies drop like flies, unfortunately, so will you. And Homefront being so unpleasant to play through is disappointing because it has a really good story to tell; a resistance movement in an alternate history America is a lot more interesting than, say, the power fantasy of a CoD where you mow down technically weaker militaries. The act of gathering the collectibles is as disruptive and tedious as in any other game but you are rewarded with a well-realised world that shows a lot of thought went into how an expansionist Korea coupled with a weakening America might play out on the global stage. So, I wouldn't really recommend purchasing this. But a competent lets play where they gather all the collectibles, maybe are a bit of a hobbyist historian and could speculate further about some of the events going on in that world, that would probably be worth a watch.
Pese a ello, divertido y curioso cuanto menos.
