Holiday with Gwen

This visual novel is a total trip. A holiday in fact. With Gwen. The main characters are likeable and reasonably well written. Sure the romantic sentiments are often expressed rather awkwardly, and yes occasionally the dialogue sounds a little like it's from Madame Web, but the tone is light and it's all in good fun. The scenario is a heady mix of espionage, romance, comedy and just a touch of surrealism. Oh yeah and I guess there's some eroticism, but it's handled pretty tastefully and shouldn't make you feel too ashamed of yourself. Or perhaps you can't feel shame any more, because you've been playing so many AVNs? The characters are mostly well rendered, although many of them look a little dead around the eyes. Gwen herself has a bit of a glassy stare, which takes a little getting used to, but she's a sweet girl and very forgivable. Some of the outdoor scenes have frankly nonsensical geometry, and many of the indoor scenes have similarly weird layouts and strange decor. It will occasionally feel like you've found yourself in the Backrooms, but for the most part, the assets used are congruous and make sense within the context of the story, This dude's work is frequently on sale and I've picked up quite a few of his other games so will likely get round to playing those... some day? Sick of being stuck indoors trapped in your boring friendless loveless life? Then a Holiday with Gwen might just be the antidote for a couple of hours. She'll make you forget yourself, think you are someone else, someone good. Yeah.

Es ist eine nette kurze VN, die im Sale durchaus einen Blick wert sein dürfte, aber Obacht, richtig Adult ist sie nicht, es gibt zwar ab und zu bei entsprechender Voreinstellung eine weibliche Brust zu sehen, das ist im Prinzip aber schon alles, keine Interaktion, keine primären männlichen Geschlechtsteile - da war im deutschen Vorabendprogramm beispielsweise die Lindenstraße schon wesentlich jugendgefährdender unterwegs. Spielzeit pro Durchgang sind ca. mit 40 Minuten zu veranschlagen, hier wird eher wert auf die Story gelegt, als auf erotische Darstellungen. Die Story an sich ist eine relativ generische Geschichte, wie sie auch als Gerüst für ein mittelmäßiges B-Movie fungieren könnte, ab und zu auch mit eklatanten Handlungsschwächen, eben genau wie ein B-Movie. Anders kann ich es beispielsweise nicht beurteilen, wenn ein Bösewicht versucht, den Helden nieder zu stechen, man den Schurken überwältigt, ihn aber dann nicht entwaffnet, so dass er anschliessend vollkommen unerwartet entwischen kann... Eine knappe Empfehlung für mich, aber wie gesagt, das Spiel ist relativ kurz, legt eher den Schwerpunkt auf die Geschichte und hat nur einige Nacktszenen eines 3D Modells zu bieten, und auch nur dann, wenn es auf explizit eingestellt ist (Auswahlmöglichkeit ganz zu Beginn beim Starten des Spiels). Als Real-Life Verfilmung würde es selbst in Deutschland maximal FSK 12 bekommen, wenn nicht sogar eine FSK 6 - zumindest was den Grad der Erotik betrifft, da hier aber auch etwas Gewalt im Spiel ist, würde es wohl auf eine FSK 12 hinauslaufen.... Aber 4,99 Euro würde ich nicht ausgeben, um die drei Euro wären gerechtfertigt.

탐정 행크가 되어 조수 그웬과 함께 휴가 겸 현지 불법조직을 박살내고 틈틈히 그웬이랑 사랑을 하는 이야기 선택지가 있고 그에 따라 엔딩이 갈라지기는 하나 스토리가 재밌지도 않고 말이 좋아 선택지가 다채로운 멀티엔딩 게임이지,가지치기 안 해서 지저분한 분재 같은 느낌 올 도과를 노린다면 가이드 란에 한 용사분이 친절하게 각 도과별로 어떤 선택지를 골라야 하는지 써놨으니 참고합시다 (보면 알겠지만 대부분의 선택지가 비슷한걸 골라야하는데다 꽤나 단조로운 편임) CG도 불쾌한 골짜기 느낌이 살짝 들기도 하고 H씬 퀄리티가 높지 않은편 약간 타 게임 모듈을 이용해 만든 2차 창작 게임 같은 쌈마이 느낌을 버릴수가 없네 이거 정가 주고 산게 아니라 어디 번들에 딸린 떨이로 있던걸 산걸로 기억하는데 추천은 주겠지만 이 게임이 좋았다,추천 보단 비추 주고 싶지만 노력이 가상함 정도? 절대 정가에 사지 말고 1000원대까지 할인할때 많이 고민해보세요,사라곤 못 하겠음

This was truly a good game/book to read through and I couldn't suggest it more. To keep this review somewhat short - the game's length is about right with about an hour and a half of text to read for the price. Even knowing the girl with the HORRIBLE eyeliner/shadow truly hurt her image, the main (only'ish) female lead (Gwen) is not just somewhat attractive but she seemed to have both intelligence and seemed like an actual person. But that isn't the best thing that I liked about this game, what I truly enjoyed or valued even is that YOUR character can actually be an actual well-adjusted male who is designed to be faithful to the female lead. I cannot stress this enough with how much I enjoyed with just reading a decent storyline but with a male lead who is generally a really good man. A male lead that I could point to a child and state that this is an example to show a young boy with HOW to act toward women and perhaps their job in general. Without a doubt, I have read at least a hundred visual novels and this is the first one that just because an adult-ish theme is hinted about even, the male could still be a decent male and not an overblown, wh0rebanging dirtbag but can be just better as a person for solely sticking with your significant other. One big tip, I would highly suggest if you are playing this game to mainly see one type of a storyline...pick being a decent person and show Gwen all of the attention and love that you can, you won't regret doing so.
