His game involved asking them questions, for which they only had a few minutes to answer. Each round had a different role, and whoever lost the time died. I don't want to give too much away, but anyone familiar with the SAW movies knows that the goal is to find a way out. However, this isn't easy, as traps are placed everywhere, and you also have to solve small puzzles before the timer reaches zero. The story is once again advanced by examining objects. Clicking on one opens a dialog box with several options, which you then have to select. Every decision/answer has consequences. So in the end, it's not certain which of the actors will survive. [h1] Gameplay / Geschichte [/h1] Claire kehrt im 3 Teil erneut zurück mit einem neuem Team an ihrer Seite um den Maskierten Mann zu jagen. Sie konnte ihn zwar aufspüren, tappte aber in eine seiner Fallen, in der sie und zwei weitere Personen bereits gefangen waren. Sein Spiel bestand darin, ihnen Fragen zu stellen, für deren Beantwortung sie nur wenige Minuten Zeit hatten. Jede Runde hatte eine andere Rolle, und wer die Zeit verlor, starb. Ich möchte wieder nicht zu viel verraten, aber wer die SAW Filme kennt, weiß das es darum geht einen Ausweg zu finden und hier raus zu kommen. Allerdings ist dies nicht einfach, da überall Fallen platziert sind und man auch kleine Rätsel lösen muss, bevor der Timer auf 0 ist. Die Geschichte wird wieder durch ansehen von Gegenständen vorangetrieben. Wenn man einen anklickt öffnen sich Dialogfenster mit mehreren Auswahlmöglichkeiten, welche man dann auswählen muss. Jede Entscheidung/Antwort zieht aber auch Konsequenzen mit sich. Also am Ende ist nicht sicher, welcher der Darsteller am Schluss überleben wird. As much as I loved the first two games, this one felt rushed and doesn't give any satisfying answer to what happened in the previous two games. Claire is back, this time with a new reformed team to hunt the Masked Man. She was able to locate him but fell into one of his traps, where she and two other people were already in. His game was to ask them questions, and they had a few minutes to answer. The game itself was short but had multiple endings depending on your answers and reactions. This was the best part of the game and made it slightly replayable. It is a pure visual novel with no puzzles, just choices and consequences. [h1] Genre [/h1] Eine Visual Novel mit Psycho Thriller Elementen [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen wieder die Polizistin Claire. 2 Jahre waren wir auf der Suche nach dem Maskierten Mann, der uns durch seine kranken Psycho Spielchen getrieben hat. Jetzt haben wir endlich seine Position geortet und wollen ihn verhaften. Dieser ist aber natürlich schon längst darauf vorbereitet und fängt uns ein weiteres mal und wieder einmal müssen wir eine weitere Runde seiner Spielchen überstehen [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Wie auch schon die beiden Vorgänger, erinnert es wieder sehr stark an die Filme "SAW" & "Nine Dead". Es ist ja auch im Prinzip die selbe Story die einfach weiter erzählt wird & hier ihr Ende findet. Wir lesen uns wieder durch die Story und treffen immer wieder Entscheidungen die zu unterschiedlichen Dialogen und Ausgängen bzw. Endings führen können. Die Story ist relativ kurz gehalten und man hat sie in gut 1-1.5 Stunden durch. Dies reicht aber meiner Meinung nach auch völlig aus um der Trilogie ein Ende zu bringen. Die 3D Models sehen auch hier wieder gut aus und auch die Musik ist wieder passend [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 2/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 16 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man alle verschiedenen Endings gesehen haben, in den 4 Psycho Spielchen Frage Runden muss ein Charakter in Runde 3 & einmal in Runde 4 sterben, dann müssen alle 3 Charaktere nach der Dritten Runde noch mindestens 2 Minuten auf der Uhr übrig haben (dies geht alles mit den richtigen Choices also ohne Stress) & man muss sowohl mit Daphne & dem Maskiereten Mann die Maximale Affection am Ende erreicht haben um noch Extra Szenen nach den Credits zu sehen (es gibt keine Anzeige dafür sondern das ist alles Choice bedingt aber man weiß was man wählen muss um dies zu erreichen) [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Gute Story + Guter Abschluss der Trilogie + Passende Musik + Die 3D Models sehen ganz gut aus + Recht viele Entscheidungen zu treffen in der kurzen Spielzeit + Achievements [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein würdiger Abschluss der Cold Verdict Trilogie. Es gibt mehrere Endings und man kann selber dadurch entscheiden wie es ausgehen soll, was ich sehr gut gemacht finde. Ich kann die Komplette Trilogie sehr Empfehlen. I'll admit that I haven't played the first two Cold Verdict games, so I had no preconceptions or expectations coming into the game. However, I have played several of Astronomic Games previous games and I found them enjoyable. So when I saw that they released their latest game, I took a chance on it, plus their games are usually very inexpensive (currently with a good introductory offer discount). Players also don't need to have played the first two Cold Verdict games, as a recap is included which explains the events of the first two games. I appreciated the recap feature very much. I enjoyed the quick pace of the game. The game isn't very long, a first playthrough will take only 45-60 minutes. I completed my first playthrough in about an hour and finished all of the endings and achievements in less than three hours. The story is well written and I found only a few typos. For players familiar with Astronomic Games previous titles, there aren't any surprises or outstanding features - the writing and art is fairly consistent with their other games. I am rather impressed with their credits list, as they have a lengthy art assets and sound effects credits list. I also appreciated the numerous sound effects, as some games do not include sound effects at all and sound effects really help with immersion. All in all, I thought it was another solid title from Astronomic Games and worth playing for the price.

I really hate doing this i wish i would have liked it i really do but i am a bit dissapointed with this final part of the trilogy i really wanted to like it and its not that i dont like it i do its just not very good. The first game was interesting and fun,The second part was really cool i actually though it was great with surprising twists and all and the build up for the finale it felt like something big was gonna happend in this final part and for me it was a letdown. The beginning of this game was good at least the first half but it dragged on a bit and also when they got rescued by claire's team it all felt rushed the climax scene with the masked man was a dissapointed. I only played it once so maybe the other endings have better climax scenes but the one i got was very bad and rushed. The game is very short even shorter then the previous 2 parts but yet it feels long because nothing much happends it has a length of around 40-45 minutes i had to pause the game a few times that's why my play time seems longer. I really was looking forward to this final part of this trilogy and i'm very sad to say its the weakest part of the trilogy. I was actually hoping for some surprising twists at the end like [spoiler] Daphne working with the masked man being a spy while playing the game with claire so getting information out of her [/spoiler] I was really hoping for some good surpsise but everything was very predictable even the masked killer was like I DONT CARE ANYMORE at the end that was nothing like his character in the first 2 games. I'm glad you finished this story but unfortutely it was not a good finale i'm sorry for writing this negative review but i have to be honest how i feel about everything about this game. Will i play this game again? Sure someday in the future i mean i only got 1 ending out of the 5 but for now i'm not really interested in playing again not for a while anyway perhaps someday in the future.
