If you haven't been keeping up with gaming news, we now have interactive black screen horror games, ones that no one can stop playing. Hiiro is one such game that was released back in June. Since then, it's received several reviews, making it a seemingly viral phenomenon. While some call it horrible, the more positive reviews describe it as quite enjoyable. Hiiro features extremely scary gameplay 10/10 (its just black screen) recommend!

I wasn't able to even play the game. When i loaded the game it showed the logo then was a black screen. I truly wanted to give this game a shot but was unable to.

一款极简风格的类银河恶魔城游戏，就是在一张大地图上进行解谜和探索。有交错复杂进行设计的大地图，特殊地点（收集）需要规划路线才能到达，有 80 多个收集要素，都努力一下就能拿到，地图上也能看到。 游戏流程大约 4-5 小时（全收集），游戏角色不会死亡，整体游戏流程轻松愉快，画风简约配置不高，看久了也很舒服，是个休闲时放松的好游戏。

I tried to play this game ... but its impossible in Windows 11: + Blackscreen right after start (I could fix it) + Extremely loud and there are only on/off option for Sound and Music + Game runs on steroids -> char moves multiple times faster than planned + Char fell through world on multiple occasions but worst + Saving doesn't work I tried to give this game a chance but sadly it won't work properly. I can't recommend this game (at least for now)

Hiiro delivers exactly what it promises: a calm, atmospheric, and wordless exploration platformer. Played start-to-... well, most of the way... on my Steam Deck OLED (The game installed on a microSD card), and it ran flawlessly on SteamOS. Zero technical issues. The soothing, dynamic soundtrack is a standout, perfectly complementing the journey through varied, mysterious environments. Platforming feels smooth and intentional, focused on discovery rather than punishment (the "No Death" feature is genuinely refreshing). Puzzles I encountered leaned simple but satisfying, fitting the relaxed vibe. While the exploration-heavy, puzzle-focused style isn't quite my personal favorite genre long-term (hence not finishing the game), I absolutely recommend Hiiro. It's a beautifully crafted experience perfect for unwinding. Stress-free exploration with great music, give this a shot. It runs perfectly on Deck too!
