Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

She just wanted a Pepsi :( Ok, now in all seriousness, it took me almost a whole year to complete this chapter of Higurashi, being by far the one that required the most effort to pick back up again after I left it for so long just sitting there. It wasn't because I wasn't liking it — quite the contrary, it was aiming to be up there with chapter 3, my previously favorite arc of Higurashi. I don't really remember what game it was that made me leave this one aside, only to be replaced immediately by another once I finish that one and so on and so forth, boy oh boy am I glad to finally having finished Tsumihoroboshi when I did. I'm not going to go into details of my own personal life, but I'm in a really rough place right now. And at the very deep end, Higurashi –like so many other teenager-oriented japanese media– it's about the power of friendship and how it's capable to power through everything and everyone that gets in its way. I know it's cheesy and I'm not usually very fond of this trope, but what made Tsumihoroboshi so different –besides, again, arriving at the time that it did– is that I feel the "power of friendship" depicted here it's more about having a support net — people that one can trust and count on. And if there's any doubt about it, the last addendum –the one where Ryukishi07 explains how the society recurses to extremes like killing and suicide only reinforced my sentiment. And that's exactly what I've been trying to build in my life — a support net with people that I love but that I haven't been all that open with by opening to them so I can feel safe around them and having the peace of mind that, if I ever get to a boiling point, I'll know that they'll be there for me. Tsumihoroboshi is better in virtue of being a chapter where we already know and love its main cast but at the same time it's hurt by the fact that there's still two chapters left. I watched the anime a couple of years before starting the visual novels –that have been taking me a couple of years themselves– so I know how's everything it's going to end. I know the anime doesn't make justice to the VNs, especially in its best arcs, but still I lowkey wish that this was it. That the end –hopeful as it is– leaves some questions unanswered but with only a few tweaks could perfectly be the bookend to this series of tragical events.
BEST CHAPTER FOR EVER!!!! TATARIGOROSHI SUCK
还得是名侦探蕾娜,这么谨慎,敏锐。真相真意外啊。
Chapter 6 makes the story even better and more emotional. I seriously found myself tearing up at certain places, and that's no small feat to achieve in fiction, let alone in a psychological horror genre. This one had so many realistic themes and there were many situations that I related on a deeper level because I had gone through some stuff like this in real life as well. I don't think every good or even great piece of fiction can change your life, but when you find a fiction that appeals directly to your circumstances then it can become something really, really, special for you. Ch.6 Tsumihoroboshi is one of those fictions for me that speaks rather deeply to me, and ending this right now, I genuinely feel like I have been given some words of wisdom that I wish someone had given me before. These are very obvious words yes, but sometimes the world don't tell you the obvious thing enough and sometimes you forget the obvious thing quite quickly. "Common sense is not common anymore." Is the saying, and that is true. We sometimes think to ourselves that because its common sense, we would automatically act on it in times of stress and tension, but when those things happen, we tend to forget really obvious solutions that could be lying around the place and take drastic measures that not only become tragedy for ourselves but for others as well. The truth of getting out of the situation is always there for you, and it is often obvious enough to notice but we overlook because our eyes dart in all directions but towards it. Sometimes we just need someone to grab our head and turn it in the direction of the obvious solution and scold us, "Look, there is the solution you idiot. It is right there in front of you and you were looking in all the directions but this one." Sometimes we need someone like that to save ourselves from ourselves. So if you are feeling alone or if you sometimes feel like all you can get is hurt or all you can give is hurt, then find that someone who will turn your head in the direction of the obvious solution and make you realize that it was always there, you just didn't see it between the blurry teary eyes. I am not saying that someone needs to be a friend, family, or anyone specific. Whatever help you can find through whatever sources, if it truly helps you at the end of the day and not just manipulate you into doing further harm, then that source is worth grabbing to. If all this feels confusing, there are always hotlines that will help you, and I get sometimes it is scary to be vulnerable and ask for help, but know that bravery lies not in sucking it up through the pain but being brave enough to ask for help when you need it. Our human societies were not built by loners who went on by themselves and did everything on their own. Everything from your houses to your computers and to your city were built by thousand hands, and if they were to break then they too will be bandaged by a thousand hands. You are a structure yourself, it took two people to come together and give you birth, so what makes you think that you can take it all on your own when you start falling apart. You need support when you are sliding down and you need repair when you have broken down. So don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it before its all too late. You may think making your life colder will just prevent you from harming others and others harming yourself, but it will do the exact opposite. You will fall with no one to support you and somtimes you might accidentally take another structure with you, an unsuspecting structure that just happened to be right below you. So yeah, grab some help if you are feeling down, and stay hydrated folks! You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. So don't lose belief in yourself, because this world is large enough that if you search even a little bit, you will find someone who believe in you more than you believe in yourself. And ain't that a hope worth living for.
