It look ♥♥♥♥♥♥, is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, and boring. it not even so bad it good. it just a unfunny ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass game. Don't play this game. YOU HAVE BEEN WARN My key board broke because of it.
love the story's
I played many many visual novels, from the most pure ones to the most "in action" ones. This has very high reviews and I think it's absolutely NOT fair. The story of a teenage angst painted with the moral of "omg study hard or you'll fail" is very stupid. You're forced to play a friendship route to actually enjoy your "husbando of choice" fully and this is very annoying. The drawings are amateur and after you struggle into their lives you get only one cheecky illustration et voila', end of your satisfaction, you're romantically involved! even tho NOTHING romantic ever happens, you only live the courtship part and get a "and they live happily ever after" bull****. Two routes trying to understand if it ever gets better with different characters, and I'm going to simply uninstall this. You're supposed to be so smart you're considered special and world changing but you're actually so average and dense you don't understand a thing about people around you and absolutely do NOTHING special the whole game long. Your crushes like you for absolutely no reason at all, you simply exist around them, there's a hint of a reason for you to connect but you cannot actually "feel" it. Some supposed secrets you're about to find out about them are actually easy to guess because it's where the plot actually gets different when you choose the boy. Really, it could use a massive update with some extras and improvements, because for being a modern dating-sim this is so below average I cannot believe it actually won so much approval.

The main character is adamant about being considered "special" but other than that this is a fairly short and sweet game littered with occasional grammar errors. Takes about an hour to get to an ending. Also people are complaining about the "skip" button skipping all text but you can change it so that it only skips read text by starting the game and clicking "MORE" at the bottom of the UI inbetween "LOG" and "FULLSCREEN". You're going to have to do this every time you close and reopen the game.

The writing is so stiff and self-important. You don't really get to know the guys. The player character (clearly a self-insert) just tells you over and over what the characters' personalities are without showing enough to make us really feel anything for them. I started with Isaac, and the PC just went on and on about her own life and trying to become his friend to prove that she was special. Then with no real visible development, she somehow breaks through his quiet outer shell and he becomes her best friend. There's no real continuity or spark or life in his personality, but then she says they're now in love, and I'm like "Wut? When did that happen?" All in all, the writing is very on-the-nose and much more centered on the protagonist's troubles with her grandmother than on any of the other characters. Not much of a dating sim. More of a "woe is me", "everyone should love me because I'm special and hurting inside" self-insert by the creator. To be honest, part of the reason I detest it so much is because I used to be just like that when I was a kid. For anyone familiar with MBTI, I'm pretty sure the creator is an INFP. If she studies storytelling more seriously and learns how to properly write a character other than herself, she could potentially get very good. As a fellow INFP, I want to root for her, because most of us start from this kind of "being special is lonely" mindset. Good luck, girl, but this game just ain't the move.
So hear me out... While this game has gotten mostly negative feedback, it's not a bad game for it being free. I would like to give an honest opinion that supports the positive and negative reviews I saw for this game on Steam as I assume that many people would be deterred by all the negative reviews. I did play through all the routes and read all 38 english reviews to compile these lists. Most of what the negative reviews said was this: - Amateur writing (fan fic) - Lack of choices (no control) - Too long - Poorly translated - Repetitive stories across the guys - Unlikable mc - Shouldn't be called an otome game cause its just a visual novel - System functions are bad - Only 4 CGS, only 8 save slots - Lifeless characters - Stereotypical tropes Most of what the positive reviews said was this: - No mary sues or prince charmings - Character consistency throughout the routes - Worth a couple bucks - Short, simple, and cute - Some have given ok or pog - Relatable to a certain degree - Emotionally touching - Quick wattpad story - Finished 3/4 routes in 2 hours Most of the negative reviews fall under a game system issue or a story content issue, so I will be responding to both these points. I think the system must have been updated, because it only took me a couple of hours to finish the game (and I was playing on and off during that time as well). I think otome game and visual novel are understood to be very close and sometimes interchangeable. Many otome games I have played give very few choices, have stereotypes, and repetitive routes. As for the writing, it does feel amateurish. The mc, the characters, and the senarios all feel more middle school level instead of high school. There are repetitive parts, but they mostly involve the mc and her grandma, and those parts can be skipped. Isaac and Tom have different routes, whereas Jared and Mike have very parallel routes to the point that I forgot which route I was on. I can agree with the positive reviews to an extent. It's short and simple, somewhat relatable since there is verbal and physical abuse. Heartbreak and deception are real in school. The one point that I really liked about this game was that all the routes were consistent with traits from others. Jared is the best friend in all routes, even his own until the end. The mc is good at math etc. A lot of games revamp the mc when she switches love interests. The CGS are actually really cute for a free game. I gave this game a thumbs up because of the price I paid (none), the CGs I got (4), and the few hours of entertainment I had (3).
☀️
i didn't like it that much, but still ok if you like american bad stories or high school musical
