About
High Above is a relaxing sandbox game about creating your dream rooftop hideaways!

Design your own elevated retreat, high above the city's noise. Turn an empty rooftop into a dreamy getaway - whether it’s a sunlit Mediterranean courtyard, a sleek modern terrace, a minimalistic Japanese rooftop garden, or a sci-fi hacker hideout. And as you build and decorate, watch as life unfolds - day turns into night, a stray cat strolls in the sun, and birds land for a quick bite.
Build the foundation of your rooftop retreat and shape it just the way you like. Tweak the scale and position of each structure to fit your vision. Whether you’re crafting a single peaceful hideaway or placing multiple buildings to form a cozy little scene, the layout is entirely up to you. Let your creativity guide the skyline!
Decorate your dream rooftops with a wide variety of charming details - from windows, balconies, and moldings to plants and glowing lanterns. Choose from a selection of materials to match your style, whether you’re going for modern minimalism or rustic charm. Add a personal touch with furniture and decor - set up a futuristic PC station, create a warm and cozy reading nook, or build a tranquil space to watch the stars. It’s your hideaway - make it uniquely yours.
If you’re in the mood for a gentle challenge, you can also take on optional mini-missions from visitors who dream of their own rooftop escape. Each of the four themes features three light missions where you create a rooftop retreat based on someone’s personal wishes - from a cozy reading nook to a peaceful Zen garden. Work at your own pace, build within a limited budget, and unlock unique decorative items to use across all your builds.

Take a breath.
No timers. No stress. Just your own quiet corner in the clouds.

Relaxing ≠ boring It's not bad-BAD, but it's limited. It feels like a demo. If it were in early access, it might be tolerable, but that's not the case. There are other, better games with a similar premise.
Amazing, perfect music, perfect everything highly recommend, one of the most grounding games ive ever played <3
Where is my swimming pool??
High Above is a relaxing creative sandbox that transforms the simple idea of rooftop design into a surprisingly immersive and rewarding experience. Developed by DVision Games and published by UNIKAT Label, the game focuses entirely on creativity, atmosphere, and personal expression. Rather than challenging players with resource shortages, complex economic systems, or demanding objectives, it provides a calm environment where imagination becomes the primary tool. The result is a building game that feels more like a digital hobby space than a traditional simulation, inviting players to construct beautiful rooftop escapes high above the busy world below. The core concept revolves around transforming empty rooftops into personalized retreats. Players are given complete freedom to shape and decorate elevated spaces using a wide variety of architectural pieces, decorative objects, and environmental details. Whether creating a cozy urban garden, a stylish social gathering spot, a peaceful meditation area, or a luxurious rooftop residence, the game encourages experimentation without imposing strict limitations. Every rooftop becomes an opportunity to create something unique, making creativity the true objective of the experience. One of the most appealing aspects of High Above is its emphasis on player freedom. The building tools are designed to encourage expression rather than restriction. Structures can be placed, adjusted, and customized according to individual preferences, allowing players to shape environments exactly as they envision them. There is no single correct approach to construction. Some players may prefer highly organized modern rooftops, while others may create lush gardens overflowing with greenery and decorative details. This flexibility ensures that each completed project feels personal and distinctive. The game offers multiple architectural styles that significantly expand creative possibilities. Mediterranean-inspired designs provide warm and inviting spaces filled with charm, while modern themes focus on sleek aesthetics and clean lines. Japanese-inspired elements introduce tranquility and balance, creating rooftops that feel like peaceful sanctuaries. Futuristic designs, meanwhile, allow for more imaginative and visually striking creations. These varied themes encourage players to explore different artistic directions and ensure that building projects remain fresh over time. Decoration is where High Above truly shines. The selection of furniture, plants, lighting options, architectural accents, and environmental details allows players to create spaces filled with personality. Small touches often have a major impact on the overall atmosphere. A carefully placed lantern, a collection of potted plants, or a comfortable seating area can completely transform the mood of a rooftop. The game rewards attention to detail, making the decorating process just as enjoyable as the construction itself. Unlike many building games that focus primarily on expansion and progression, High Above encourages players to appreciate the environments they create. Once a rooftop is complete, it becomes a place to observe and enjoy rather than simply a project to abandon. Dynamic environmental elements help support this approach. Birds occasionally visit, cats wander through completed spaces, and lighting changes throughout the day create different moods. These subtle details give the rooftops a sense of life and make them feel like genuine places rather than static creations. The atmosphere is consistently one of the game's strongest qualities. High Above embraces a philosophy of stress-free design, allowing players to work entirely at their own pace. There are no urgent deadlines, no competitive elements, and no pressure to optimize every decision. Instead, the game creates a space where creativity can unfold naturally. This relaxed approach makes it particularly appealing to players seeking a peaceful experience after more demanding strategy, action, or simulation games. For those who enjoy having some structure, optional visitor requests provide additional goals. These small challenges ask players to design rooftops that satisfy specific preferences or limitations. Completing these tasks unlocks new decorative items and building options, creating a sense of progression without undermining the game's sandbox nature. The optional objectives offer direction when desired while still preserving the freedom that defines the experience. Visually, High Above adopts a colorful and inviting art style that perfectly complements its cozy design philosophy. The environments are filled with warmth and charm, while the stylized presentation allows every rooftop to feel welcoming. Lighting deserves particular praise, as it dramatically influences the atmosphere of completed builds. Daytime scenes feel bright and vibrant, while evening settings illuminated by decorative lights create especially beautiful and relaxing environments. The audio design contributes significantly to the overall experience. Soft music and ambient sounds help establish a calm mood that encourages extended play sessions. Rather than demanding attention, the soundtrack quietly supports the creative process, enhancing immersion without becoming distracting. The combination of visual charm and relaxing audio makes spending time within completed rooftop spaces genuinely enjoyable. Another admirable aspect of the game is its commitment to simplicity. High Above does not attempt to overwhelm players with unnecessary mechanics or excessive complexity. Every system exists to support creativity and comfort. This focused design philosophy helps the game stand out within a genre that often prioritizes resource management and efficiency over self-expression. By concentrating entirely on the joy of building, it delivers a more focused and approachable experience. The game's primary limitation is that its appeal depends heavily on the player's interest in creative design. Those looking for extensive progression systems, deep management mechanics, or highly structured gameplay may find the experience too relaxed. Much of the enjoyment comes from setting personal goals and finding satisfaction in the creative process itself. Players who require constant challenges or dramatic gameplay developments may eventually desire additional complexity. Even so, High Above succeeds because it remains true to its vision. It understands that not every building game needs to revolve around optimization, survival, or competition. Instead, it offers a peaceful creative playground where players can design beautiful rooftop sanctuaries and enjoy the process without pressure. Every mechanic supports this goal, resulting in an experience that feels cohesive and inviting. High Above is a charming and thoughtfully crafted building game that excels at providing relaxation, creativity, and atmosphere. Its extensive customization options, diverse architectural themes, beautiful environmental details, and stress-free approach to design create a highly enjoyable sandbox experience. While it may not offer the complexity of larger simulation titles, it more than compensates with personality, flexibility, and a genuine appreciation for the simple pleasure of creating beautiful spaces. For players who enjoy cozy builders and creative design-focused games, High Above delivers a delightful retreat above the clouds. Rating: 8/10
Wonderful little game! So far I've only played around in the futuristic area and it more then met my expectations. Kick back relax and let your mind go quiet while you make dioramas. Ran beautifully!
