Hideous

Thanks to the generous dev for providing a review copy. This feels like a college student's first boomer shooter. The game has numerous FPS drops, looks ugly as he.. although it did have a somewhat charming art style be it somewhat flawed. Some of the worst level design i've seen in this genre (and i played some truly dreadful DOOM maps) The enemies feel dumber than a brick wall as most of them just run at you.... at a snails pace and sponge your bullets. The weapons do not feel even slightly powerful. i feel like a water gun or a nerf blaster would genuinely feel better. Finally i just want to point out the price of this game is crazy steep when you take into consideration that you could pick up the 2 greatest of their crafts, DOOM 1+2 and duke nukem 3d for LESS than this game. Maybe 3-5 bucks MAX during EA but 10 is outrageous. I'll stay posted for when (or if) this game gets more updates to keep this review up to date and hope to eventually be able to change it to a positive one. All the best luck! *Edit: No more comments. Cool Heretic-like fps with a great atmosphere. It definitely needs work , but I generally liked the art style, weapons, combat, and maps of what I've played so far. I didn't like: the jank(game literally autosaved after I died falling in lava) feels like it would be easier adding a quicksave to avoid some of this. Some of the enemies telegraph their attacks super early & might be easy to cheese. Other enemes (wizard guy) have a shield that is pretty annoying to deal with. Other than that it was pretty fun

I'm giving this a positive review because I see the vision and I like it. It has big potential if the dev is committed to working through the rough patches big-time. The graphical Diablo 1-esque artstyle is a style that just hasn't been done justice before, and I want to see more of it. But the gamefeel is just awful. Movement needs complete reworking, it's horrible. Everything looks so choppy. The sound effects are bad. The shooting is bad. There are no options. The enemies are useless. The image is stretched horizontally. I want the dev to make this game worth my purchase. Fulfill the potential of this project!

Используя разные магические орудия. У игры есть баги, но она находится в раннем доступе и думаю разработчик со временем исправит их.

Played it at early access and after the release. some improvements were made and its quite a cute game even if simple and short.
