As a father and grandfather, this "stranger danger" horror game was very hard to play - but it was well done. I wouldn't normally play games like this but I didn't take enough time to read the description properly and instead was fooled (entirely my mistake) by the child-friendly graphics and in-game music. When it turned dark suddenly, I realised my mistake, just like the child in the game...
Prepare to be consumed by a chilling nightmare. Hide and Seek with Noah is not merely a game; it's a psychological torture device disguised as a children's pastime. From the moment you step into this twisted world, you'll feel the icy tendrils of fear wrap around your very soul. Hide and Seek with Noah is a horror masterpiece that will leave you haunted long after you've turned off your computer. It's a game that demands to be played in the dead of night, with the lights turned off and the curtains drawn. If you're looking for a truly terrifying experience, look no further. Truly an amazing first creation I myself couldn't do better. The people leaving negative reviews don't understand the innovation behind your choices. The lighting especially in the "here" ending leaves a lot for the mind to imagine. The scuff microphone sometimes what a weak minded individual might think is poor camera angles wont understand the true impact. The way it looks like a normal home video in some scenes and a kids games in others plays on the psyche with the quick transitions not allowing one to adapt to whats unfolding in front of their eyes. The simplistic yet complicated game play is amazing for someones first game. It leaves a lot of questions and a yearning for more. People who leave the negative review don't understand people have to start somewhere and from what i can tell your sprinting (and one of them plays nsfw furry games what a degen). Even if someone doesn't enjoy the game for its horror aspect its a free short game you can spend some time on and have some fun with friends. This game was great. You shall go far.

I absolutely loved hide and seek with Noah, the subtle nuances of the shift in animation style, and degradation of the character's voices and overall designs. The mannerisms of Noah as he is ripped away from the only home he knows. He made me sympathize and understand his plight. I would equate this experience to something more Hitchcock or of the likes of Stanley Kubrick at his true master class. The total shocking twist into the live action scenes left me chilled and proper exhilarated. I Implore any person who truly has but a little time in their busy existences, to "seek" out this true master class of modern gaming.

Awesome game, shoutout to wildezyt for telling me about this game. WildezPlayground
It's hard to talk about this game at all without ruining it. It's free. It's short. Play it and come back. But to state the obvious: THIS is great indy horror.
I walked into this game knowing only that this game is supposed to be scary. The sudden yank into real footage was really unsettling. The reveal was maybe top 3 scariest moments in a game for me. ??? kind of looked like a paralysis demon I had lol Up until that point, it was looking like a child friendly game that teaches you not to talk to strangers. Something you get your kid to play. Nope. It's not. For me, this game did to playgrounds what Nightmare on Elm Street did to boiler rooms or Jason did to summer camps. Watch. Your. Kids. There's some real sickos out there.
Side not to the dev, there's 3 things I would improve on if you were to make a similar game: 1. Improve the voice acting. It seems like you had amateurs do it. That's totally fine. However, it's okay to demand multiple takes. The one with
adult Noah on the swings was particularly bad.
Made it hard to focus on what they were saying. 2. The PSA was not realistic. I don't even mean the parts that are clearly analog horror inspired like
"Do not HIDE HIDE HIDE HIDE".
I mean like the advice to
go to the hospital if you're feeling nervous.
Even in "analog-horrors-ville", that was pretty clunky. 3. Any part where the camera was filming from a swing gave me motion sickness. And I don't get motion sickness ever. Chill with all the movement. Great game. Worth a play. By yourself. In the dark.
