Hidden in my Paradise is a very good hidden objects game with some cutes designs and a relaxing soundtrack. In every levels, you'll have to find hiddens objects, fairies and recreate sceneries from pictures by using the decorations from the levels. You also can create your own levels and playing those from other players. I highly recommend it! 💗
Hidden in my Paradise

3-5+ hours to complete, Hidden in my Paradise is a cute, fun, and well designed HOG that even lets you create and share your own levels with a huge variety of items, characters, and furniture. There are four areas and twenty five levels, as well as additional free extra holiday areas. Inside each level there are additional optional tasks, such as finding treasure chests, faeries, and moving items around to set up scenes to take cute photographs, although sometimes I found it didn’t work well, and I had to zoom out more or mess around with it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3706182506 Overall, it’s a fine game. It’s not too long, not too short, and I actually enjoyed making a little HOG map of my own then poking my steam friends to go play it – everyone who has this game can also play what you make and give it a rating, so you can get some little gold stars for your efforts. There are only two cons; one is that the looping background music gets too repetitive and the search function did not work for me when I was looking for my friends created areas, so I had to sort by newest to go hunt them down. I’m pretty sure that last bit will eventually get patched, so it’s worth checking out if you are a Hidden Object Game Enjoyer and/or have a friend group to share hidden object levels you make. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3706207268
If you liked this review and want to read about similar games or just support me on my journey of playing my entire Steam backlog, you can join my curator group, Rune's Reviews! Have a nice day! Difficult Achievement(s): No.
Intro
Hidden in my Paradise is a hidden object game where you are given four types of objectives in each level. Each level is short and can be finished quickly, and with the implementation of the level editor, you can play it as long as you want. Pros: - 25+9 levels - In-game tracker for all types of objectives - Move any objects to find what you need easily Cons: - Hints are not available for all types of objectives - Snap hints can be buggy Specs AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT
Should you buy this game?
If you enjoy hidden object games, this one is very cheap on sale with a lot of content.

In-Depth Review

The Game
You'll be offered a level selection screen as soon as you boot the game, and it lets you know how many objects you need to find when you are about to start a level. There are four types of objectives: finding objects, snaps, fairies, and treasures. The first and last ones are similar to other hidden object games, with the former having various objects listed at the bottom of the screen while the latter has treasure chests in various colors hidden throughout the levels. The hidden objects are generally easy to find and require you to find smaller objects. You can guess the general location of some objects, although some will also be hidden beneath the trees. This means that you need to hover over them to produce a flashlight-like effect, allowing you to scour the hidden objects behind them. Alternatively, you can just move all objects to find the one you want. This is really helpful for some objects that are more obscurely hidden behind others. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3564493724 However, I don't like that it doesn't automatically hide found objects; I needed to manually scroll the listed objects at the bottom of the screen whenever I'm finished with most of them. Moreover, the game never marks objects that you have found if it asks you to find multiple objects of the same item, which will cause confusion when you are looking for the few remaining ones. The treasures are more hidden. You'll find most of them beneath the trees, and since they are more secret than the other objectives, you can only see the full count after finishing the last level. The last level won't unlock right away, though—you need to play earlier levels and complete objectives in some levels to unlock them. You don't need to finish them all to unlock the last level, but you need to finish a decent number of objectives to do it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3346857918 Finding the fairies is easier. You just need to spot some glittering objects and move them. This also serves as a reminder that you can move objects, which is helpful for finding some objects. That being said, the fairies are usually hidden in plain sight, and you can find them as long as you are looking at everything carefully. Snaps Snaps are exactly like what it said: the game will give you photo(s), and you must replicate them. At first, I thought the game wanted me to make the scene exactly like in the photo, but it turns out that it's very lenient—you just need to make sure that the objects are rotated and stacked correctly with other objects. The placement can be anywhere. People might be confused about how the camera works, though. You can zoom in/out both the screen and the camera lens. The former will make you able to fit more objects since everything will look smaller, while the latter will increase the region for the camera snaps. Some photos will require you to place a lot of objects, and those who don't know about this "trick" will only zoom in/out using one of them and think that there is not enough space to fit everything in the picture. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3554286271 Hints The game offers hints for hidden objects and snaps. The hidden object hints will directly show you the object location, although snap hints are trickier. It will try to locate the object that you miss, and if you moved those objects somewhere, it will still point to the original location of where the object was. Moreover, since it only shows the object location, your snap will still fail if you don't arrange the objects in the way that the game wants. Level Editor One of the unique aspects of this game is that it has a level editor. You don't unlock all objects in it right away; you need to use currency that you get from finishing the main levels in either the shop or the gacha machine to unlock them. Note that you don't need to grind to get them all—finishing each level once is enough. You can also play levels made by each user, although it can be hard to find a quality one; I tried to play one of the high rated one, and it doesn't seem to feel like the main levels, so I just stopped. Length and Difficulty The game has 25 main levels and 9 extra levels. I finished the main levels in 3.4h and spent the rest finishing the extra levels and sweeping the achievement. The game is not hard; you can find everything easily, and if you end up stuck, you can use the hints or just move everything in your sight until you find the object you are looking for. The game has a long transition time between pages, though. It will always show an animation that displays the game's title and the two mascot characters whenever you move the pages. I got fed up looking at them at some point.
Conclusion
Hidden in my Paradise is a simple hidden object game, but that simplicity is what makes the game charming. Each level is small enough for you not to get overwhelmed, and short enough to finish in several sessions. It's the perfect game to wind up after a long day. Moreover, the game is very cheap on sale, and considering how long you can get out of it, it's definitely a steal.
INSTALLING NOTHING
Um jogo de achar coisinhas infinito, pq tem a comunidade e sempre vai ter um mapa pra vc jogar
One of the camera picture setting did not work - I did exactly what a player did in a youtube video, but it did not work for me.
This is a neutral to meh review. Fair warning, I'm a blue ribbon hunter. I played for nearly an hour and cleared many maps, until I got to a snap that, inconceivably, wasn't working. I tried again and again and nah, "there's something missing." I did a little looking on the community page and this is a problem with the game. I already didn't particularly like the pick up and rotate everything you clicked aspect. It hit me as gimmicky, and not one I liked. Discovering that my worries were founded- the gimmick was glitchy- I decided to walk away. I can't stand persnickety. I want to chill when I hunt down cakes and books and axolotls. Not fume at, idk, some in game captcha that's sort of hard?! I didn't earn an achievement, so I am shelving this before it counts against my record. I can't imagine how grueling it would feel to grind out all of the levels of this game. It isn't difficult, just sort of time wastey and fiddly. If I'm starting a campaign of a game it needs to have a story beyond sparkly bushes and characters sitting on logs. PROS: + Ran okay, tracking fine + Cute aesthetic, lots to see and enjoy + quick maps that are bite sized, easy to do a couple in a mental break then get into another task + Pretty doable, definitely more a patience and precision challenge than most folks would expect out of a hidden object game + Wholesome, kid friendly (from what I saw) Cons: - Not chill and cozy IMO - Interactions select and opens rotate option on items with a single click - List of items to find is large icons, so it has a scroll bar. It does not keep track or scroll for you in some way to easily show the ones you are searching for - Pointless pop ups constantly about did you know and hey, look! one glitched and I had to reopen the game - No items disappear or are checked off, which is needlessly difficult when looking for two of an item. - So many levels that Hidden in my Paradise is simple, but deceptively not respectful of your time. you will likely get sick of it before you finish because it is not that engaging - Mandatory snaps achievement, but the snapping, merge vs placed, whatever, is clunky and frustrating. final thoughts: I can only imagine how hard it is to code something that works fluidly with this sort of mechanic, and I don't think the devs are quite there yet, I'm sure people will read this and be like, just skip the snaps, gee whiz! And I hear ya, the truth is, I just didn't feel :D when I was playing, so skipping the ribbon on top of that seems like too much meh to me. most finding games have high percentages for most achievements. This one has less than 50% for the first and by the end of the list the group of faithful players degrades to 17%. I see that a lot on puzzle games that are tricky or have difficult achievements. This isn't a tough game, so I think it's just a little boring and annoying at times. I imagine it doesn't have a lot of thumbs down because people probably don't bother to write these little grievances. I agree, it's not even really a negative review, just a pass for me.
cute art & hidden object game with additional game mechanics that require you to move items and replicate photos of pre-arranged items and animals. you get coins when you click on animals which can then buy packs/ items in the shop. these items can be used to make your own levels which can be uploaded online for others players to download, play and rate. this also gives the game a cozy sandbox feel if you like decorating.
Such a fun unique hidden object game. You can make dioramas, make levels for other people, and the art is literally my favorite art style ever. THE ANIMALS ARE SO CUTE. Finished? Yes Steam Achievements? Easy Steam Deck? Great Rating? 9.5/10 My curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45865425-CozyAriGames/ Full videos on Youtube.
