Good game for its time. I've played this plenty of times before i bought it here but i didn't remember all the frustrations i had from playing this game and one thing for sure, i've never had dozens of crashes and corrupted saves on the Alp mission. I also didn't remember the AI being the worst out there, both allied and the enemy AI barely even function. Your teammate will shoot an enemy 200m away as soon as they spotted them and landed a headshot instantly, but sometimes in close quarters they will miss half of the shots or hell, even doing nothing all and accepted their death while the german soldier standing literally by his shoulder. Neither the opposite sides are any better, they will all go "alert" mode when they heard gunshots and some would just simply be idle even with the alarm banging next to their ears. In one of the missions where you have to escort two prisoners, makes it a total of six active squad members in your team, they will often spread out way too much and go out in the open getting shot by dozens of incoming german troops and you couldn't do anything to make them react better besides letting them stay behind and you just do all the lone wolf stuffs to clear the area to keep them safe, and again like i said, they will sometimes not shoot the enemy literally standing infront of them... Stealth is pointless, nuff said. The game uses detection system based on range you can see on the squads hud and no matter how good your stealth stats are they all felt just the same. There are times where your detection goes to 300m despite proning inside grasses and under shadows and the enemy can sometimes immediately detect you in 50m range while looking away and the worst of all, your teammates for whatever reason stands up while they were supposed to be on prone and starts blasting even after you gave them the order to wait for my shot. Silenced weapons are also garbo, terrible damage and accuracy, just go loud and kill all the dumb AIs. Also just let your squads use semi auto rifles like the garand and lmgs like BAR and watch them one tapping the enemies from far away. That being said, i still like the game despite the flaws. A squad based ww2 tactical shooter and one of its kind that no ww2 games after it had ever try to replicate. The formula is there, and it delivered. Only the AI and Stealth makes the game looks bad. The best to way to avoid the bad AI and simply have fun is not to do stealth, OR play the campaign with the coop mod. The latter is going to be worth it.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4/5) A sometimes clunky masterpiece. The game holds really well despite its age. While objectives can be hard to track and the enemy AI can fluctuate between 'stuck in a wall' and 'superhuman aimbot', gunplay is solid and fun. Once you get use to the quirkiness, the game really shines and the open maps and tactical freedom offer good replayability. Worth at full price.

Ну что можно сказать про данную игру? Шедевр своего времени! Выбор персонажей в группу, у каждого персонажа своя характеристика, стел механика, управление техникой, своего рода открытая карта, можно одеть униформу врага. Выполнение миссии ложиться на свое усмотрение, сейчас такую игру не встретить! Для меня это игра детства, впервые я познакомился с данной игрой у отца на компьютере и тогда она мне сразу же понравилась, когда я увидел её в стиме, то сразу же приобрёл не жалея денег. Время от времени прохожу данную игру из-за ностальгии.
