The aim is to find the hidden cats there are 100 in each of the 4 levels + another 5 easier levels from 20 to 70 cats. In each level there is also a penguin hidden, if we find all 4 we unlock a bonus "penguin search" level The graphics are wonderful, very real in 3D, it is possible to rotate the view in different directions, zoom and also observe from above. There are no hints, the only help is to be guided by the cat's meowing when it is in our view. When we exit the save is automatic. the music is pleasant, but I advise you to keep it low to hear the cats meowing well. The gameplay is very simple and relaxing because it is not timed, we can explore calmly and observe every terrace, balcony, windows, and notice all the details and rich details of this wonderful Italian city. I recommend it, it's a very well made game, especially the ending, when we find all the cats we can see a beautiful display of fireworks!!! Fun, relaxing and a real feast for the eyes! Some cats would be so much easier to find if the camera had full rotation. The camera, only allowing you to zoom in or out, pan left, right, up and down can be frustrating until you get used to it. I constantly wanted to pan with full rotation. Some cats are really hard to find and the penguins are a chore. But all in all it is a good time and I am still on the hunt for the penguins. Then they have a beautiful glow and are animated. If you hear a meow, then a kitten should be close by. Be sure to take a closer peek! Don't forget to use the zoom (middle wheel) to try and find those hidden critters easier. You can zoom left, right, up & down but you are stationary and can't walk around. [h1]THE MOST FRUSTRATING GAME I'VE EVER LOVED 💕[/h1] I fell in love with this game on the first level and thought to myself, "I could play this game all day!" As I progressed, my love for the game quickly became more of a love/hate 💔 relationship. It took me nearly 12 hours to complete the game because I encountered a resolution compatibility issue with my 38" Alienware curved monitor (3840 x 1600 resolution).   There are four different modes which give you different camera angles:  [h3]360° VIEW[/h3] Observe the scene on a human scale from an intersection of canals.   [h3]TOWER VIEW[/h3] Rotate the scene 360° around a huge tower of dwellings and terraces and observe it from its full height.    [h3]AERIAL VIEW[/h3] Glide over the city, zooming in on rooftops and alleyways to discover hidden cats and penguins.   [h3]SIDE VIEW[/h3] Observe a set of facades and play with perspective to search for cats and penguins from unlikely angles.   The Main Game features hidden cats across four levels. Each level has a hidden secret Penguin which will eventually unlock Secret Bonus Penguin Levels. After finding all of the Cats, the Bonus Levels will appear with an additional 400 hidden Cats and a secret hidden Penguin in each level.   If you find all of the secret Penguins from the Main Game and Bonus Chapters, you're in for a treat...-🐧style! There are 4 Penguin Levels, with 25 hidden Penguins in each level. Be prepared, the penguins are quite small and hidden in weird angles...who knew Penguins could be so stressful lol?    [h3]🦻🏼CAT and PENGUIN SOUND HINTS[/h3]  I highly recommend going into the Settings Menu⚙️to switch to the hearing impaired mode. With this option, you will not only hear the Cat Mews and Penguin Squeaks, but you'll also see the sound waves on the screen. Trust me, when you get down to the last few cats or penguins, it gets difficult to locate them because you have to be at the right angle and zoom to prompt the sound hint. With the hearing impaired option, you can pinpoint their location better by paying attention to the direction of the sound wave.    [h3]RESOLUTION ISSUES[/h3]  Because of the before-mentioned resolution issue, this is where the game became extremely frustrating for me. I got down to the last few cats, and no matter what angle or zoom I tried, the "mews" hints just stopped. I searched over and over but couldn't find the cats and was beginning to think that they didn't exist; otherwise, I'd get a sound hint, right? It finally dawned on me that the missing cats were probably cut off because the game wasn't compatible with oversized monitor resolutions. I switched to a 1920 x 1440 resolution and was able to hear and see the remaining cats on the edges. I still ran into issues on a couple of the Penguin Bonus Levels and had to switch to yet another resolution.   In conclusion, had it not been for the frustration encountered because of the resolution issues, this game would be on my top 10 favorite games list! The graphics are incredible, the 3D aspect was amazing, the cats and penguins are 100% adorable, and the sound wave feature was the icing on the cake.    The developer made a comment that, in hindsight, the Secret Penguin levels were a bit too challenging, but I have to disagree! The Penguin levels are optional, so it's an added bonus that isn't advertised. I loved the challenge they presented, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment after finding all of them. I would not hesitate to buy another game just like this one (in a different town, of course). I'm definitely a fan, but I would really appreciate it if the developers would add my resolution! Gorgeous little hidden cats game! The art style looks straight out of a Pixar movie. Far more content than most in this genre. These are 3D dioramas. You can spin around and//or zoom in and out on the little Tuscan village areas to locate the cats. (Some levels don’t spin; some are designed only for scrolling and zooming.) There are no visual hints, but there are audio hints (periodic meowing if a cat is within view). Many of the cats are DIFFICULT to locate (within shadows, viewable only at precise angles, etc.). It’s a CHALLENGING hidden cats game! But also relaxing. There’s beautiful minimalist piano music accompanying your searching. I’ve been playing for nearly five hours and I’ve found all 600 cats, earned nearly all achievements (nine total), except for finding all of the penguins on the hidden levels. Yes, you read that correctly. Penguins, for some cute reason. Four main levels (the levels with 100 cats each) contain a hidden penguin (without any audible hint to my knowledge; I cheated on three of the four levels and found people to help me locate those penguins via screenshots). Once you find those four penguins, that unlocks four more secret levels, each with 25 EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND penguins (albeit with audible squeaker hints … but trust me, these are nearly impossible to locate in many cases, being quite literally microscopic 0.o). The last achievement is to find all 100 of those sneaky little guys. Bang-for-your-buck on hidden object games here! I anticipate my remaining 60 or so penguins taking at least another couple of hours to locate. If the penguin challenge doesn’t strike your fancy, I think the cats-only portion of the game (600 cats to find … 400 in one portion of the game, and 200 in another portion; tbh I’m unsure why they’re split into two sections) took me about four hours to complete. I got this on sale for $2, but it’s more than worth the full $4 price tag, given how long it’s taking me to complete this game! Also, it works flawlessly on a handheld. I’m playing on a Lenovo Legion Go with SteamOS (operates nearly identically to my OLED Deck). You move the diorama with the left joystick, you use the right joystick like a mouse, you use X or A to “click,” the cats, and you can zoom in and out with the bumpers. You may find the camera angles annoying at times, but I have found that ***this is a design feature, not a design flaw.*** The devs seem to have meticulously designed the camera to hide and reveal cats from very particular angles. Highly recommend if you like hidden object games, particularly ones meant to be a true challenge!

Cats are hard to find at some levels, but omg those penguins... I have so old eyes, I cannot see them from the background when they are like flea's ♥♥♥♥ on the screen... It would have been fun game without those friggin penguins.

The goal is to find all the cats (600) hidden in the environment of each game mode. And there are 4 of them. We are looking for our favorite furry creatures in a richly detailed scenery on 9 different levels. As for me - this is the most beautiful game from the Hidden Cats series. Why? Because I love Venice. What I found most fascinating was the graphics, beauty of Venice, a historic city famous for its canals, gondolas and bridges, rich in details. And all this with the sounds of a digital piano and guitar with animations of sweet, cuddly cats. The whole thing provides full relaxation and free fun. The game works great and will automatically save your progress. And it's not easy at all. I recommend it to all cat lovers :D

Not quite the game I was looking for, but I stuck with it. The levels are quite detailed and there are lots of cats to find - some which are well hidden! Turned out to be a pretty good game.

Hidden Cats Invade Venice is a 3D hidden cats game where you move your camera around to see the environments in different angles to catch all the sneaky little kittens. There is also penguins for some reason. The main levels have 100 cats per level and each has one hidden penguin. The bonus tower levels start small and get bigger, those don't have any penguins in them. There is also one bonus level with just penguins and there is 100 penguins in there. The penguins were probably the most hardest part of this game. I really liked the way the game was made, though there were a lot of points where the devs could have improved upon. All that said though, a very good entry in the hidden cats genre and definitely worth playing if you enjoy these types of games.
