Hidden Anime Girls

One of the worst Hidden Object games I've ever played. Not only are the girls easy to find but each picture has 5 random items that are supposed to be clicked on but there is no consistency or clues for these objects. And the 5 random items may be clickable one map and not the other, for example a blue crystal is one of the five secret hidden items on like 50% of the maps but it shows up in 100% of them. It's really frustrating and not fun. Also for those against AI art - this game has some oddities with building windows which makes me lean towards it's AI more so than hand drawn.

Hidden Anime Girls - это восхитительная игра-головоломка в жанре "поиск предметов", которая идеально подходит для тех, кто любит милые аниме-девушек и хочет расслабиться. Графика яркая и привлекательная, а музыка создает приятную атмосферу. Механика проста в освоении, но поиск всех спрятанных девушек может стать настоящим вызовом, особенно на более сложных уровнях. Отличный способ скоротать время и насладиться красивыми картинками. Рекомендую всем поклонникам жанра и аниме!

The dev indicates that the only use of AI was to generate the base artwork for the sprites, but I can 100% confirm that ALL of the artwork in the game is HEAVILY AI generated. The backgrounds have melting lamp posts, indecipherable blobs of fruits that melt together, and many other inconsistencies visible to the naked eye that I noticed in less than 10 minutes of gameplay. Beyond that - although that in itself is a game-ruiner for me, I do not support the use of generative AI in this fashion - the game just sucks. The girls don't match the backgrounds and stick out in horribly obvious ways. The hiding locations are lazy (a girl's head floating from a corner). Level 2 had a tiny girl the size of a bottle for no apparent reason. There are 5 random objects in each level you're supposed to click as well, but with no indication of what they might be -- but even that's super easy, as the objects are always obviously out of place on the background and you just click them until you find the right 5 to disappear. Not hard when there's maybe 6-8 Obvious Objects in the whole level. All in all, this is a horrifically, insultingly lazy addition to the hidden object genre and should have never been published on Steam. Even if it's on sale, DO NOT BUY. There's no reason to support this kind of dev.

A cute and simple game for now and then. Most of the anime girls and random things are easy to find, only a few are tricky. 8/10
