Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Butterflies and flowers hide among the beautiful scenery. ^^

Introduction
I commissioned some butterflies is a cozy, hidden object game developed by Follow the fun and published by I commissioned some series. It is the first game in this particular series although it isn't the first butterflies HOG that I played. (For my review of my first butterflies game, I commissioned some butterflies 5, please click here.) You're given a total of 15 different levels/artwork pieces, and hidden in these pieces, there are butterflies and flowers. Each level indicates how many butterflies and flowers you have to find, and the usual gameplay options are present. You use the left mouse button to click on items and scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in and out of artwork pieces. If you have difficulty finding a butterfly or flower, you can press the H key for the hint function, which shows a directional arrow to let you know where the item is. You can even reset the level by clicking on the trash can icon if you wish. After completing a level, you'll earn a Steam achievement, and there are a total of 16. Achievements are available, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
Feeling in the mood to play a short but doable HOG, I was trying to decide which one. Then, seeing that a friend has been playing some games in the I commissioned some series, I remember that I have quite a few games to catch up on, so I decided to go with this one. XD
Gameplay
The gameplay is simple, which is how I like it. There are no complicated mechanics or whatnot. It definitely fits the definition of a cozy game in that no timer is present, so you can play the levels at your own pace. Depending on the individual artwork piece, finding the items can either be fairly easy or pretty difficult. Some butterflies and/or flowers can blend very well in the levels. However, the zoom in function totally helps to make finding the items doable, and if you encounter any difficulties, the hint function is available. Also, I like that you don't have to wait for the hint function to recharge, so you can use it as much or as little as you want. All Steam achievements are fairly obtainable, and if you're very good at HOGs, it'll probably take a little over an hour to 100% complete the game. (At least, it did for me. XD)
Art and Music
What I really like about this series is the art. You can tell that all the backgrounds and sprites are done with human hands, and I just love how the art style evokes that warm, cozy feeling. The backgrounds and items are drawn and colored well. Especially, I like the choice of colors, which have a good range but never feel overly bright or glaring. As tends to be the case with these games, I had difficulty deciding my favorites. ^^ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3797948764 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3797948964 As for the music, the tracks give off that cozy, lofi vibe. While some feel more mellow, others have a more upbeat tone. This variety makes sense since some backgrounds are meant to depict more activity (like being at the sports arena) than others. They're all instrumental and very enjoyable to listen to.
Conclusion
Would I recommend I commissioned some butterflies? If you're looking for a cozy, relaxing hidden object game that has lovely art and music, you'd like a short game to play, and/or you enjoy getting those Steam achievements, then this is totally worth a look. Depending on your completion speed, whether the price point is worth it is up to you. Of course, you can wait for a sale, and it is in a few Steam bundles. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
PROS: + plenty of charming art styles + nice music + great on the Steam Deck CONS: - localisation doesn't work - profile visibility is restricted for this game Comment: And here we have the butterfly spin on the I commissioned some X series. Accompanying them in the search count are, as you would guess, flowers. Both are okay to find, but difficulty heavily depends on the art style of the current picture. I found two actually hard, especially level seven was diabolical for me. Then level ten had some weird white parts on some black lines, looked like a bug, not sure what that is about. Pictures were nice as usual. The soundtrack was okay, nothing memorable but fitting to each scene. A fine entry that takes about an hour and a half on the Steam Deck to complete. Probably faster with mouse and keyboard. Due to the game time you might want to pick it up on sale. It is also available in bundles but those offer no actual discount for whatever reason. pretty fun, this one has a natural difficulty curve which might be appealing to some people. the last few levels are a bit harder than the ones in the beginning, but I feel like they were just difficult because it was 1/4th of a wing or a flower that I'm looking for and all the linewidths are the same that it's not even a butterfly at that point.
Семь иллюстраций - кайф. Последняя вообще шедевр. По сложности в этот раз довольно просто, проще чем с пчелами, но эти два часа были все равно очень приятными и расслабляющими

fun, cute and relaxing.
I’ve purchased all the “I commissioned some...” games, and i like all of them! It’s both challenging and incredibly fun. The bunnies and carrots are cleverly hidden among vibrant, abstract shapes, making them tricky to spot even though they’re technically in plain sight. It’s an impressive design that keeps you engaged and entertained. I highly recommend this game to hidden object fans who are looking for a relaxing yet stimulating experience. This game strikes a perfect balance and stands out as a must-play in the series. 😊
