Game is missing tooltips / descriptions / sound effects, would not recommend.
Might be a half decent game here, but found that I was completely put off by the graphics - felt like I was playing in a fog. I think the towers and creeps need much more definition. Will keep an eye on updates.
This game is really fun and I like the cute little creatures even though I have to kill them. The monkies walk with malice though and I don't regret slaughtering them. I've never played a tower defense game before, but it was easy for me to get started right away because the user interface is so intuitive. I think I will be playing this a lot while listening to my audio books in the future.
No sound, no music, damage is described in a brief popup at the beginning of the level that goes away, special effects obscure information, GUI hard to read. If this was early access, it could be forgiven as being still in development, but the developer claims this is the final version. This game does not feel finished.
Cute game with standard tower defense mechanics. Has an interesting upgrade system and can get pretty chaotic the later you go into a game. Probably could benefit from some difficulty settings for those who want an easier time or really spice things up for a challenge.
Such good game play - the action comes fast and keeps you on your toes but is still easy to start getting a grasp of within a couple of tries. It keeps you engaged and is a fun time!
This is a gem of a tower defense game. It's a solid and engaging tower defense experience that hooked me from the start. I loved the strategic depth offered by the hexagonal grid—it adds a refreshing layer of complexity compared to traditional square grids, since enemies can create lanes from all sides. The vibrant graphics and smooth animations kept me visually entertained, and the variety of towers and upgrades provided ample opportunities to experiment with different strategies. and boooy did I have to try out different strats! I particularly liked the unique tower combinations you can use to keep enemies at bay. Each level felt like a genuine test of my tactical skills, and the diverse enemy types required thoughtful planning since the game does a great job of "showing, not telling" the player what enemies are weak or strong against. One aspect that could use improvement is the occasional difficulty spike, which can be frustrating for less experienced players (not a pro like me). However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall quality and enjoyment the game provides. Every time I ran into a game over screen, I came back for more!
For my first tower defense game I had a lot of fun with it! The enemies are cute and fun designs and the gameplay was easy to pick up after a couple of rounds. I definitely plan to play a little more to learn the functions of the game to see how far I can get!
Absolutely, between this and bloons td, Hex defense comes on top by a mile and has more room to grow. This game completely attached to my ADHD, and i still haven't gotten past 40 minutes in a run and it gets harder.
Fun game so far! definitely a better vibe with lofi playing haha A more robust UI that gave a breakdown of enemy strengths/weaknesses during play would be an amazing addition, as well as damage types and damage types for towers Excited to see it as more gets polished and added!
