If you like Dorfromantic and feel like playing a sci-fi version of it, this game is good fun and will be relevant to you. We have the same premise - put down hexagon tiles, gain points (you win if you hit 100k) but with a twist - you also gain resources by placing tiles which allow you to also put down buildings, merge them into bigger ones and score a second factor of points that allow you to move through "scenarios" which have a limited turn count to complete. The premise is really good, and the gameplay really involved. So do I recommend this game? Yes. BUTTTT!!! And it is a huge one. Time for the elephant in the room. Unlike Dorfromantic, which you can play in a quick, zippy-zappy fashion, this game suffers from HUGE performance issues, especially in the late game (50k points and more). I tried going to low settings but this did not fix it. If I could make a suggestion to the devs, we should really get a few more settings to play around with in order to improve the performance. While I am quite positive that a patch or two will fix everything, if you pick it up, you will need to steel yourself to wait for a good second or two when a huge building merges and backdrops change. Not great, but definitely fixable. All in all, this game is good fun and a 100k run lasts about 1.5 hours, which is decent for people who like a good time sink without huge involvement. I can see myself dumping quite a few hours in this game, so for its 30% reduced price of 8 EUR, it is a decent buy. It will become a great buy, once the performance issues have been fixed.
Pretty chill and oddly satisfying city-builder / deck-builder. It doesn't go too much into depth as far as strategy games go, but leans more on the casual side with an easier learning curve. All in all, it's like Dorfromantik and Dystopika had a baby lol
Did not expect this seemingly casual game at first to contain the strategic depth it has. Apart from that it's beautifully decorated with sci-fi themes and colors that reminded me why I love futuristic cyberpunk visuals. At first it seemed very simple, but each city card has synergy that can make for some insane highscore combos, however the missions get progressively harder so you're forced to pay attention in order not to lose.. For some reason I enjoyed creative mode the most though and spent over 2 hours just placing more and more cities, matching resource tiles and tweaking visuals. Also there is a hidden mechanic in the main menu (you can click anywhere and a new city will spawn) and I just love the camera rotating around, it should be made into a screen saver ngl. The dev seems fresh, but definitely paid attention to small details. 8/10 recommend
Super fun game, lots of strategy and ways to play! Perfect game to play with a long youtube documentary in the background The cities you build in the end look awesome and grand, and infinite mode is a great addition if you don't wonna say goodbye to it yet.
I don't normally play games like this. Picked it up on launch day, played an hour, and had a really good time. It just clicks. You start placing tiles and suddenly you're way more invested than you expected to be. Looks great too. Barely scratched the surface and I already want to go back. Easy recommend, even if this isn't your usual genre.
I'm not too into casual games, but I was drawn to try this hidden gem because of the beautiful visuals, I can't lie. Got in because of the cyberpunk neon lights, but stayed for the completely unexpected depth this game has to offer, especially once you start unlocking new buildings. One major flaw is that late game, there are some fps drops when placing buildings, but it's not too big of a deal and sounds like an easy fix devs will handle in a patch. Totally recommend even if you're not into casual games, just like me and be sure to go through the tutorial because I couldn't figure it out at first, had to go through it after failing the first round.
I absolutely LOVE this game. It's super chill, but still challenging enough to keep you engaged for hours. The cities all look unique and interesting. 100% recommend it to anyone who enjoys city builders.
Very satisfying to watch your city grow and expand as you plan its meticulous layout. It hits a strange but untapped combination of genres. I love the brutalist architecture inspired by famous Balkan buildings.
Interesting little game with a solid concept. It feels a bit like Dorfromantik, but trades the cozy atmosphere for a sci-fi colony-building focus and adds more emphasis on resource management and planning. The tile placement is enjoyable and the graphics are pretty enough, but it feels like there's room for a lot more content and polish, especially with the performance of the game, placing building sadly causes hiccups which hampers your momentum when building.
Every run feels completely different. Great optimization puzzles and solid replay value.
