Each fight will feel unique and there will definitely be something for everyone to enjoy. Nimbusfall is a huge disappointment. The controls are clunky, the graphics are outdated, and the story lacks depth. Frequent bugs and crashes ruin the experience. It feels rushed and unfinished. Definitely not worth the time or money.

Nimbusfall is a boss rush style game. At each difficulty, you fight a set of bosses, one at a time, working your way to the final boss of that difficulty. Between difficulties, some bosses overlap, while new bosses are also introduced. Bosses at higher difficulties have additional tricks up their sleeves. Identify patterns, learn how to avoid their moves and when to attack. Between fights, you get an option to change your weapon. There are various weapon types to choose from, generally differing in power, range, and attack speed. The attacks capabilities of each are not particularly diverse in any way. There is a normal attack and a special meter to do a harder hit once full. You'll attack a few times depending on your weapon speed during times you feel safe to attack the boss in. The game does keep track of fights you've completed without taking damage. The boss fights overall are varied and fun to learn, but with only an air dash and normal attacks to use, the fights may feel simple to deal with once you found your groove in each of them. There is a final difficulty to truly test your skills with only one life against every boss at full power if you've perfected your game.

It doesn't look like much, but it's a fun short boss rush roguelite. The enemy attack patterns are mostly nice and the fact you'll probably end up fighting the same boss with different weapons on each run makes it less repetetive.

Un boss rush en 2D avec de bonnes idées de DA et de pattern des boss. Le jeu reste simple dans ses mécaniques, et est plaisant à jouer. Différents niveaux de difficultés vraiment utiles : si les modes Facile et Normal sont accessibles, le mode Difficile propose déjà un certain challenge et le mode Folie porte très bien son nom. Compter 2h pour finir le mode normal, à titre d'exemple.

THe game is straightforward, plays well no Frame gen needed, boss rush game play, and a low price. Also has coop. Not bad

Nimbusfall is a dreamy, surreal platformer with stunning visuals and fluid movement. A bit short, but every leap feels magical. 8/10!

Passing difficult levels, and fighting bosses, you increasingly ask yourself the philosophy of closed space, and that even in such a narrow space you can defeat someone who is stronger than you. Very strong thoughts, I think.
