«Heroes Arena»
This game has no description - rather, it tells us its features: === FEATURES === 1. Endless Arena 2. Loot Corridor 3. Variety of monsters to defeat 4. Max Player level of 200. 5. Player skins 6. Weapon Shop 7. Potion Shop 8. General Shop 9. A small secret area 10. Steam Achievements Well.. Even if it's just tagged as RPG and action, this game is actually more an indie idle hack n' slash game. Although some reviews were written when this game was on early access and now it isn't anymore, you'll always play with a white text on the upper left part of the screen that says "early access version 0.05". If this is somehow useful. The music is so annoying that even the hardest lover of the arcade MIDI themes would hate it - luckily, we can mute it with F1. You'll be put into a dungeon, everything's designed with an extremely poor quality.. like you're literally a cube holding a sword and the rest of the dungeons are just differently-colored tiles. WASD to move, left click to attack, right click to use the special attack and the spacebar will like "rotate" the sword around you. These skills of course have a small cooldown timer. The shops sell: - Potions (a seller sells only this item) - Weapons (a seller sells only a sword and its upgrades, no other weapons) - Coins (upgrade idle time to get more coins, trade souls from killed enemis to get more hp and little else) Yeah, you'll be able to buy different swords that differ only by their colour.. they don't even have names. Just "level" and "attack". Since you won't ever be able to buy armors or spells, this game actually is super easy - you'll just get at that time in which your sword will be too weak and you'll be forced to come back on the surface and buy/upgrade the next sword. Some skills like the right button one, the "big sword" are overpowered too.. and most of all, the dungeon is just an endless crap filled with the same cubes like you. Changing some skins won't definitely net a recommendation.. Plus, as I said, the game never gets hard. You'll have early plenty of chests/coins, but the game lacks bosses or anything else apart from normal monsters.. and it's endless. So I'd never recommend this one even if it's not expensive at all. The game is definitely the same from the beginning to the end (which it has not, by the way).. it's nice for its achievements and it can be used for wasting some minutes, but it really offers no entertainment at all and the idle part is quite useless since you'll never miss so much money.. you'll be able to breeze through the same-looking levels with ease. And yeah - as I said, this game has no bosses, endings or such: the achievements are only linked to coins collected, levels for your main character and defeated enemies, things like that.
only played it for a short amount of time but there is almost nothing to do , would be cool to see some new feutures later on. best of luck with the game ill check it out every now & then. now some nagging on the achievements... wt* ?coins every 500 up till 100k spend but i can get past that but you have that with fountains & monstersouls & deaths also and deaths goes up till 500 and youll get a achivement every 10 deaths ..
Knowing Heroes Arena is a simple, idle hack n' slash game, I will be going a tad easier on it. Gameplay: 3/5: There are a few things to do here. You can stay idle to collect coins, go kill monsters, and buy/upgrade stuff in shops. Nothing complicated or unique, but it's cheap, so not a problem. Diffuculty: 2/5: The only real diffuculty here is when your weapons don't deal much damage, and your health isn't that high. There is an easy fix to this, as you can use a ticket to collect chests worth a lot of money. After your first chest room, things get VERY easy as you will be making heaps of money and get weapons that one-shot every single monster. Lasting Value: 1/5: I only played for about 15 minutes before I got bored. There is a limited skillset (only 3 moves), no unique monster abilities, and a lack of features. A decent time waster, but not much else. Overall: 2/5: Heroes Arena boils down to just another grinding RPG, just with a lot less features. I personally don't reccomend it, but the price IS very cheap, so it's your call on whether you want it or not. Just know this isn't great for the price.
This game could be better. If the developer put more effort in the game sadly it gets boring very fast. It becomes constant spamming of attack while sitting in the corner.

Heroes Arena looks like an action RPG but in reality this is more like a mobile "clicker" game where you perform routine clicking actions to move along an ongoing exponential "upgrade" cycle that does nothing but to make your arbitrary clicking seem more effective than it used to be, while at the same time you don't really go anywhere at all. The only differentiator from any other clicker game here is that there's a token "action" dungeon which is really just a little WASD movement and slashing around to get the points instead of clicking on flowers or whatever. For a pointless clicker, this is well packaged because it almost seems like it isn't one. Regardless, retro pixel graphics, no gameplay, fixed resolution, all those kinds of massive flaws render this a non-game and totally unrecommendable.
