Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty boring game. In the beginning you choose a class which gives you access to permanent upgrades on level up, for example, bomber - 30% chance to drop a bomb after killing an enemy, +5% chance to drop a bomb, +1 to bomb radius, +1 to bomb damage, 30% chance to drop an extra bomb, +5% chance to drop an extra bomb, 30% chance to drop a bomb when killing enemy with a bomb, etc. But this are all permanent upgrades you are going to get on level up for the rest of the run. The other upgrades will be temporary until the next level up. Like, +2 damage until next level up, +15% speed until next level up, etc. Why are temporary upgrades a thing - I have no idea, there is no reason to take them unless you got unlucky and there is no permanent choice at all. Lets say you take one - you will be stronger until next level up but then you just lose it and become worse than if you choose a weaker but permanent upgrade as there are more enemies now but you basically skipped a level. Each run is also divided into several stages with increasing amount of time for each with stage 9 having a boss. After the stage you get a choice of 4 weapons or items. Weapons that you already have show no info so you have to remember either starting screen when you started a run or previous choices to compare new weapon to old ones. All items have both positive and negative effects, so when you decide to increase one stat you lose some other. There are no permanent upgrades, you just collect coins during the stage and then unlock new heroes and new starting weapon. That's all. Also no info about stats at all. Armor, intelligence, luck, greed - no info about them...

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
A bad version of "Brotato" No mouse implemented. Irritating collisions/block on objects Abilities are super bad, you get 1 ability choice when you start, and everyone else is horrible upgrades of that thing. The majority of level ups are short temporarily buff like "+2 damage till next level" Words used to describe things are "bad English translations" so you don't understand what they actually do. Spend your money on another game, this is not one I would recommend.
A solid BETA but not ready. It has a good setup but is missing a lot, levels are mostly stat upgrades that only last for that round but no way of checking what stats you have, no sounds to indicate you took damage, no real meta progression. The game is kill to get gold to unlock new characters & new starter new weapon but you have to unlock all the other weapons before you can see what's next. Needs work I can't recommend this game in this state.
Do not buy this game, The devs have abandoned it and it has so many bugs. Hit boxes arent accurate so you will get hit when you see you shouldnt. Your shotgun and other guns will just stop working (see other reviews confirming its been a bug for over a year). No button optimisation. When you level up if your next to a mob already you will get hit when you select your "upgrade". I see no positives in this game. Probably the worst wave based game I have played and I love this genre. Save your money and buy anything else.
Ta bueno, pero cortito, pongan más falopaaaaaa! quiero más niveles y más cosas para subirle.
Like Brotato - wave-based not endless runs and arena stages not open-world. Also, it only has auto-shooting guns. No turrets, garlic, melee, etc. It has some interesting ideas. Still not as good as a handful of other autoshooter survivorlikes (please stop calling these "bullet hells". "Bullet heaven" is cool tho). Pros - Good music. - Good player run speed. - Neat characters to unlock. - Your first level up is when you get to choose your spec (1 of 3). I think that's kind of a cool change up. Neutral - Your level up skills are either unique to your spec (permanent), healing, or a general upgrade that only lasts for 1 level. The lasting for 1 level thing is kinda...not my jive, but it's an acceptable design choice. - Wave reward items are weird. Guns are the only weapons. Axes, grenades, etc are just passive upgrades. And all passive upgrades seem to just be random. They have no real correlation to what the upgrade is. I.e. Two Golden Bullet III rewards can have totally different passive stats. Also, each upgrade has a negative passive stat, besides rank 1 upgrades. Just getting guns seems to be the best choice? Cons - No way to see your build during a run. - Weird hurtboxes. - Waves are disproportionately timed (goes from 30 secs to 3 mins in just a few waves). Anyway, it's a solid survivorlike. Others are better. But this isn't a bad $5 to spend if you wanna just try something different.
Hero Survival shows real promise through its weapon, enemy, and character variety, that makes its core gameplay loop entertaining but without many permanent upgrades it doesn’t feel rewarding. The bright graphics bring a more cheerful art style to the survivors-like genre and helps the game stand out against others in the subgenre. However, it feels light on features. I suggest keeping an eye on development and seeing if they enhance the game in the recent future. Right now it’s a bit of a hollow game with a very shiny coat on it. As for performance on the steam deck it runs really well. I had no issues what so ever and got good battery life. Full review here- https://writebase.co.uk/games/hero-survival-game-review/
Hero Survival is a fast-paced action roguelite built around a simple but dependable idea: survive increasingly dangerous waves of monsters while gradually turning an initially vulnerable character into an overwhelmingly powerful fighter. Developed by PigeonDev, the game uses familiar creatures from classic horror, including vampires, werewolves, mummies, and other supernatural enemies, but presents them with a colorful retro style rather than attempting to create a genuinely frightening atmosphere. The result is an arcade-oriented survival experience that prioritizes constant combat, character development, and experimentation over storytelling. Each run revolves around staying alive as enemy waves become larger and more difficult to manage. Early encounters provide enough room to establish a build, but later stages demand better positioning and increasingly effective combinations of weapons and abilities. This escalating structure gives the combat a satisfying sense of momentum. Watching a character progress from cautiously avoiding small groups of enemies to destroying entire crowds is one of the game's strongest pleasures. The controls and overall mechanics are deliberately approachable, making it easy to understand what the game expects without requiring a lengthy introduction. Build variety adds considerably more depth to the straightforward combat. Players can pursue different character specializations, including options such as a gunslinger, bomber, or cryomancer. Each encourages a different approach to surviving the hordes. Freezing enemies can provide valuable crowd control, explosive abilities can devastate tightly packed groups, and firearm-oriented builds can emphasize consistent damage. Dozens of skills and a large number of possible item combinations make experimentation an important part of repeated playthroughs. Not every combination feels equally powerful, but discovering effective synergies is a major reason to start another run. The weapon selection also gives players room to shape their preferred combat style. Fourteen weapons are available, including revolvers, shotguns, submachine guns, automatic rifles, machine guns, sniper rifles, and grenade launchers. Different weapons become useful depending on the situation and chosen build. Rapid-fire firearms can handle persistent groups effectively, while heavier options can deliver substantial damage at the cost of speed or flexibility. Combining an appropriate weapon with complementary abilities is considerably more rewarding than simply chasing individual upgrades with higher statistics. Persistent progression helps prevent unsuccessful runs from feeling completely wasted. Coins collected during play can be used to unlock additional characters, expanding the available options for subsequent attempts. New characters encourage experimentation with different abilities and strategies, creating a basic but effective progression loop. The system is not as extensive as those found in some larger roguelites, yet it provides enough incentive to continue playing after defeat. The inclusion of numerous achievements adds another layer of optional objectives for players interested in completion. Visually, the pixel-art presentation suits the game's intentionally uncomplicated personality. Its monsters are recognizable without making the screen unnecessarily detailed, which becomes important when large numbers of enemies appear simultaneously. The chiptune-inspired soundtrack complements the retro aesthetic and keeps the overall presentation energetic. The game is also extremely lightweight from a hardware perspective, making it suitable for older or modest PCs without sacrificing the large enemy crowds that define its later encounters. The greatest limitation is repetition. Despite the different weapons, skills, and character specializations, the fundamental objective remains unchanged: survive waves, strengthen the character, defeat monsters, and repeat the process. Players who already spend considerable time with survival roguelites may find that Hero Survival does not introduce enough radically new mechanics to distinguish itself over a long period. Its smaller scope is most noticeable once the novelty of experimenting with different builds begins to fade. Players looking for an extensive narrative, exploration, complex quests, or elaborate RPG systems should adjust their expectations accordingly. Steam Deck compatibility is officially listed as Unsupported. Players primarily interested in experiencing it on Valve's handheld should keep this limitation in mind rather than assuming that the simple controls automatically guarantee full compatibility. Its design may appear ideal for portable play, but the official Deck classification does not currently provide that assurance. PigeonDev is listed as the developer, while the Steam information does not clearly present a separate publisher identity. Overall, Hero Survival succeeds as a modest, immediately accessible survival roguelite. Its classic-monster theme, assortment of firearms, character specializations, unlockable content, and large selection of upgrade combinations create enjoyable short-session gameplay. It lacks the depth and long-term variety necessary to stand among the most elaborate games in the genre, but its straightforward design makes it easy to pick up whenever the desire for some quick monster-slaying action appears.
