A dark lesbian horror/romance story so toxic it's emitting spores. Ethel, a shy university student, ventures into the wintry woods late at night, where she meets an enchanting femme fatale — but all is not as it seems.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Ethel Briggs is a shy, self-conscious girl in her final year of university. Though she should be working on her thesis about Romantic poetry, her well of inspiration has run dry. After a nasty break-up with her former girlfriend, Clementine, Ethel is feeling very blue — and it certainly doesn't help that she's spending the winter holidays in the depressingly drab village of Oxbury, while her family are off holidaying in sunny Australia.
Left to her own devices, Ethel struggles to finish her thesis while the cold, wintry wind blows outside and the days continue to get shorter and darker.
Staying inside proves to be unbearable, however, and Ethel escapes the confines of her family's home for a breath of fresh air. Going for a walk in the woods should be enough to invigorate her, and fill her with newfound passion for Romanticism.
That was Ethel's plan, at least — but she wasn't counting on meeting a mysterious, dark-haired beauty in the woods, who is much more than she seems.

Thanks to this game, I once again am greatly yearning to be (spoiler i suppose) ||forcefully integrated into a yuri hivemind (this would so fix me)|| Also how bad is it that something that was supposed to be kinda horror-like, was in my eyes just uh... Making me feel good and just... Yea...
It's quite the slowburn but the payoff is worth it! All of the art was so pretty too!
has positives such as the art and soundtrack but the writing felt somehow both underwhelming and a bit bloated to me. and having even a single male character in a yuri vn is just too much smh (joke.) recommending only to a specific category of people, those being if you reblog a lot of cannibalism as a metaphor for love/dog motif/doomed by the narrative webweaving moodboards on tumblr, you'll very likely enjoy this.

i liked it
10/10 I need some therapy after this
I dont really read VNs (this is my first one actually) so im not equipped to compare it to anything, but i can say i liked it! I was interested after seeing the art on Twitter awhile ago and am glad i finally got around to reading it. The music is great too and really added to the experience for me <3
This is one of the first visual novels I've ever read and it was so good! A little bit messed up in a hot, mycological romance sort of way. Finished it in around 2.5 hours, 100% recommend!
"Would it be so bad to give in?"
