Great characters, fun gameplay, cool vo cast. Possessing enemies makes you really think through each level on how to approach the different puzzles and challenges. Some good gross humor for any fans of early 90's cartoons.
Hellworld rocks! A fantastic action platformer!!! I've played it at a lot of local conventions for a long time now, it's been fantastic to see it's development over the years. Great design, solid execution, and how do you afford VO in an indie like this? Buy it!
Just beat the game! It's got a super cute story and the characters were all fun. I love the art style of the game and the voice acting was incredible for everyone. The game play is solid, there were a few glitches I came across, but nothing that brakes the game or makes it unplayable. Overall, I highly recommend this game!

This is such a fun fantastical game. The characters are so well designed and the voice acting and music is phenomenal. I cannot wait to beat it!
Scratches all the right itches for a fresh look at a 2D side scroller. Just hard enough to leave you coming back for more. The addition of a fully voice acted game brings such life to this already colorful and hilarious game.
Hellworld! was something I first experienced in Classic Game Fest, and it was so great I had to purchase it on Steam. What I love the most are the characters as well their voice actors, plus the levels and how they have different gimmicks to each other. It's also focused on possessing certain enemies to progress, and you're gonna need it a lot. Some drawbacks are that there could be an options slider, especially when pausing the game in the middle of a level, since there is a lack of that. I don't want to have to go back to the main menu to only change between fullscreen and windowed mode. There needs to be volume sliders for music and SFX as well. You will also need a controller for this since using a keyboard makes playing Hellworld! more difficult. Speaking of, there needs to be the ability to rebind keys and maybe change controller layouts, just saying. Despite all this, I really loved this fun little game from beginning to end.
Even tho I'm not the best at platformers, this was an absolutely amazing ride so far and everything from the art, characters and story is just SO FUN so far!! More support for indie games make games like this come to life!
The inspiration of late 80's/early 90's video games runs deep in this 2D side-scroller. Being a retro gamer, this aspect gets an A+ in my book! I'm glad to hear the heavy voice-acting. It really brings out the character's personalities, along with the unique character art. Not something common in indie games. Gameplay was fast-paced and really tested my platforming skills. It's no Elden Ring, but if you are wanting a challenge, look no further. Oh, this game has some truly catchy tunes. Hummed a few levels for days after finishing it. Great job! My kudos to SkullPixl Games for setting the bar high for first-time developers. Can't wait to see what releases next! 10/10 - Bravo
