Прикольно побегать как в соло так и, возможно, с другом, но есть раздражающий баг при котором после уничтожения кузни - ничего не происходит. Соответственно - персонажи не качаются и увеличение кол-ва прожитых волн ждать не приходится.
Extremely buggy and barebones, not even worth buying on sale tbh
Can't log in, didn't get any confirmation for the registration either. Can't even play
Too hard of a game, can't even get past the login screen boss (just loads infinitely). Might have worked at one point but seems bugged and abandoned now. Don't buy, even if there's a sale.

Hellwatch, developed by FG and published by Brightika, Inc., is a cooperative action roguelite that builds its experience around relentless combat, unpredictable team dynamics, and a progression loop designed for repeated runs. Set against a dark fantasy backdrop, the game places players in the role of defenders tasked with holding back waves of demonic forces, blending elements of twin-stick shooters and hack-and-slash combat into a structure that emphasizes both individual skill and group coordination. The gameplay is driven by short, self-contained runs where players face increasingly difficult encounters while collecting upgrades and resources along the way. Combat is fast and chaotic, with enemies approaching from multiple directions and forcing constant movement and awareness. Each character offers a distinct set of abilities, allowing players to approach battles with different strategies, whether focusing on direct damage, area control, or support roles. The pacing is immediate, rarely giving players time to rest, which keeps the action engaging but can also make the experience feel overwhelming during longer sessions. Progression follows a familiar roguelite structure, where each run contributes to long-term growth through unlockable upgrades and improved equipment. Early on, this system feels rewarding, as new abilities and enhancements noticeably affect performance and open up different playstyles. Over time, however, the sense of progression becomes more gradual, with improvements feeling less impactful and more incremental. While the loop of advancing, failing, and returning stronger remains intact, it does not evolve significantly, which can make extended play feel repetitive. The cooperative aspect is central to the game’s identity. Designed with multiplayer in mind, Hellwatch is at its most engaging when played with others. Coordination between players can lead to effective strategies and satisfying moments of teamwork, particularly when abilities are combined or resources are shared efficiently. At the same time, the game allows for a degree of independence, which can create tension within a group as players balance personal survival with collective success. This dynamic adds unpredictability to each run, making cooperative sessions feel more varied and alive. In contrast, solo play lacks this interaction and tends to feel less compelling as a result. Visually, the game adopts a stylized dark fantasy aesthetic that supports its tone without drawing excessive attention to itself. Character designs and enemy types are distinct enough to remain readable during intense encounters, and visual effects are clear without becoming overly cluttered. The environments, while consistent in theme, can begin to feel repetitive over time, lacking the variety needed to keep each run visually fresh. Sound design reinforces the action with impactful effects, though it serves more as functional support than a standout feature. Despite its strong foundation, Hellwatch is held back by issues that affect its overall consistency. The gameplay loop, while initially engaging, becomes predictable as runs begin to follow similar patterns. Balance between different abilities and strategies is uneven, with certain approaches proving far more effective than others. Technical shortcomings and a general lack of polish further impact the experience, occasionally disrupting the flow of combat and reducing immersion. Even with these limitations, the game manages to deliver moments of genuine enjoyment, particularly in cooperative play. When the systems align—when players coordinate effectively and builds come together—the experience captures the chaotic energy that defines the genre. These moments highlight the potential of the game, even if they are not consistently sustained throughout. In the end, Hellwatch stands as a game with solid ideas that are not fully realized. It offers an energetic and occasionally rewarding roguelite experience, especially for players who enjoy cooperative gameplay, but it struggles to maintain depth and variety over time. While it can provide entertaining sessions in short bursts, its lack of refinement and repetition prevent it from reaching a higher level of impact. Rating: 6/10
Colorful and dynamic survival game. Many different mechanics and combinations to somehow survive and resist the huge hordes of monsters.
trash... missing everything to be a good game... clunky ... bad movement... bad chars... 4 chars 4 spells to play...
Was gifted this by a friend who bought it hoping hoping that our 4 person friend group could play it together. Only thing is, you are required to play a solo match first...something I don't particularly like having to do when playing any game. But fine, okay, let's do a solo game ... only for each and every game to be bugged out and not counted as completion. I really enjoy the game, but the main appeal was to be able to play with my buds. Even if you want to play solo you can't finish matches.
